Just looking for opinions. Every time a Lvl 23 comes through the UCD I look it up for people's opinions. I didn't have enough for the Nissan R92 when it came through. I just passed on the Panoz. If the R92 comes around I'll grab it and I haven't seen the Toyota Minolta yet. Are there any other highly recommended lvl 23 cars to get me through some Expert A spec. I'm dying for a Suzuki Escudo to show up. Mostly for looks, not sure if it will compete at the top though.

I'd recommend beefing your cash level up so you don't lose the chance to buy a Level 23 car. -

I'm not too sure what level the high end cars are.

The Toyota GTOne is a car a lot of people rate

The Lister Storm and Gillet are interesting - if somewhat off the pace cars - good for a challenge.
Diablo GT and the McLarenF1 GTR are cracking race bred road cars - the McLaren is fast and easy to drive.

Furi did a report on the top end cars for GT5 - and beefed up the in game history with real life information.

Furi's Le Mans car guide Level 23

I think Shoe67 had a neat guide on these cars too...

Seriously any of the level 22/23 cars should be good to win the Expert A events.

good luck

The Toyota Minolta is the prize car for winning A-spec Extreme Like the Wind.

Well now! That's money saved. The Bentley looks sweet so I'll have both. Been a while since I looked up prize cars up, especially upper A spec. Thanks

Peugeot 905, hands down best and favorite for me.

The Bentley Speed 8 is also available as a prize from one of the seasonals. One of British ones I think.

I've never been consistently faster than in the Speed 8. The 905 looks pitiful on paper when you compare to the other LMPs, but when you throw in tire wear and wet tracks, it's hard to beat.

Escudo, V12 LMR and R92 Nissan...

If you can control the Escudo, it will eat all the other lvl 23s at slower corners and acceleration up to 300 kph/186 mph.

A fully turboed R92 will hit the 1100 hp mark (I think) and is a beast on the straight line (just a little tranny swap and you will reach 400 kph) and excellent for fast corners.

The V12 LMR is very easy to control, I would say it is the allrounder...

I, personally, prefere the R92 the most... it is sooo fast;-)

There are many great cars in this catagory. In my opinion these are the best of the best.
1.Toyota 88C-V
2.Mercedes C9
3.Nissan R92-CP
4.Pescarolo-Courage C60 Hybride
5.Audi R8
6.Peugeot 908

This is what I was getting at ^ .. The 905 I believe is 200KG lighter than the other LMP's , which helps its tires. The lower horsepower definitely helps the fuel usage. And it's low weight also makes the handling AMAZING. Yes, most other LMP's will power around it on the straights, but a technical track like Nur or Suzuka, forget about it, the 905 will dominate!
