I did search for this topic, no result.

I thought this topic worthy of having a thread, so here it is!

In my KE30 'Rolla, I've got a sweet Kenny MP3 CD head unit, with four hi-fi (house type) speakers. The two hooked up to the front are Sony items, there's one in the passenger footwell, and one behind my seat for extra bass in the seat :sly: .
The rear speakers are slightly larger Akai units, sitting on either side of the bench seat, held in by the seatbelts :dopey: .

Not quite sure of the ratings, but I will update soon, possibly with pictures.

I can get some pretty phat tunez cranking out, considering the speakers used, and no amplifier or woofer. Also, I've hooked up some small light globes to the speaker wires, so whenever there's bass, they light up. It looks awesome at night!

Anyone else care to share the system details of their ride?

6 Alpine Type S speakers, 2 in the dash, 2 in the doors, and 2 in the rear panels.

An Infiniti Basslink 10" subwoolfer with built in amp.

Not the best thing in the world but it's nice enough and gives me a decent sound.
 
In my Prelude I was running a Alpine 9xxx series comp deck with Pioneer Premier 3 way 5 1/4's up front and 6 1/2's in the rear. Then in the trunk I had two 12" Pioneer Premier DVC 1000 watt subwoofers being run by a Pioneer Premier mono 760 watt amp on each woofer, which were backed by a Sting pro 2 farad capacitor.

So far my G35 remains stock.
 
I think my sub with the amp is probably less then 25lbs. add another 5-10 for the wiring and the headunit is about the same as the stock radio.

Yesterday, I bought a class A, Avalanche, 800W amplifier (yes, I know it won't be 800WRMS, along with two 12" subs (not too sure of the brand, will post pics tomorrow) and all of the wiring for a grand total of $150.
Consequently, I have removed two of the hi-fi speakers, and will now be running the two rears through the amp to have clearer sound in the cabin, and to clean up the wiring a bit.
Due to my boot not sealing properly (it does close), the boot lid shakes like crazy with pretty much any volume setting above 5 (maximum 35).
I'm rather pleased with it :)
