Actually, that pretty much depends on the definition of 'noisy' that's being used. I already drove a Beetle back and forth through highways, which is why my eardrums aren't exactly a yardstick for measuring purposes.
But again, as long as you don't actually push the engine much over highway speeds, the noise levels are tolerable for something like two to three hours.
Exactly, you know when you're about to enter a long bridge, the type of which has many sections amended together? It's pretty hard to tolerate the
thump made by the rear suspension, specially when there is no cargo on the boot or even passengers on the rear bench.. It quite shows where the money has been saved on the car.
@Starfirebird : Have you considered contacting another dealer? I wouldn't tolerate all the waiting you've been through, give them a call and request a solid and irrefutable delivery date, otherwise just cancel the deal and seek another dealer mate. Unless, of course there aren't any Honda dealers on the your vicinity.
