You get the picture: coming back from college or work feeling down. You put your GT5 disc in the PS3 and... What is the car that you go to check out first, whether it's starting the engine or driving some laps...

I'm first: it has got to be the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP '10 I just start the car and take it on a short track like Madrid... It's sounds very pleasent when driving slowly and when I give it the beans, it puts a smile on my face right away... :dunce:

So add your contributions... :)

A 707hp Cobra that does 237mph... at Le Mans... bye bye to those LFA's and Murcielago's....

It takes more than a GT5 car to brighten up my day :scared:

But in terms of enjoyment. Getting out my M3 CSL feels like slipping into an old shoe. It's maybe not that exciting, but it's so well balanced and so fast. Always a pleasure.

Everything that he said.

Probably my GT-R SpecV. It's tuned so it isn't boring =P Lap that around Nordschleife, and I'm good to go.

Ferrari 458 + daft spoiler + Monza = Pure joy

Tremendous fun

Nascars around Nordschleife but in particular The Nordschleife Nascar Race Seasonal but sadly that doesn't exist.

PD = Killjoy.

My 720hp Supra. Just cruise alongside stock Mclaren F1's then show them whats what :sly: .

The isuzu 4200R with comfort softs is an amazing car. Maybe the best handling car in the game. Driving it on the nordschleife always reminds me why I like driving games. On the other end of the spectrum the ruf yellowbird is very lively and demanding car with comfort softs but when you manage to do drive it well it is also very rewarding car.

4200R is incredible, whoever put that in the game clearly was very passionate about that car. Lovely balance but with soft suspension so good weight transfer and it looks really good the replays, sounds fantastic too.
The RUF is awesome, but the challenge is to drive it just on the safe side of tyre-smoking everywhere. Comfort softs fit it really well imho. Hard to imagine the road tyres of the time having much more grip than those do.

I also really enjoy the standard Elise S1, with comfort softs, and the standard Honda S2000 too. There are some cars which just look "right" when you watch back a replay.

Mclaren F1, complete with Gulf paintjob and stupid massive spoiler. :)

R8 V10 and the LP cousins. I'm a major fan of how these V10-V12 monsters sound.

LFA is a bit too snappy but it sounds good.

re-tuned Amuse 380RS, Skyline R34, fully-tuned Esprit V8. 380RS and R34 sits at 560 PP while the Esprit can run 370 km/h all by its own while at 610 PP.

Pretty much any Japanese tuner car. I've been watching a lot of Best Motoring lately and it's really made me appreciate the work that goes into these things... Favourites being the Amuse S2000 R1 because it's probably the best S2000 in terms of fun, Amemiya µ Boost 7 which is a very well balanced car, Mine's Evo VI, simply because it's the only tuner Evo, and Spoon Civic Type R which is really down to the stratospheric rev limit.

If I had to choose one, though, it might be the Tom's X540 Chaser. Stock, it's ok, but if you fully tune it and put it on sports softs it's an absolute beast, not that I like tuning tuner cars, though.

It's not one car that brightens my day, it's my whole collection (apart from the ugly boxed cars and stuff).

One of my favourites has to be the Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R (KPGC110) '73.
Tuned for drifting, with sport exhaust, it's alot of fun to drive and drift :D

The Murcielagos, Vettes or E46 M3s, just take any of those out stock for a nice drive, i swear i want all these cars now for real!

#1 - Mercedes Benz 190E Evolution II

The rest are in no particular order

RUF BTR
Mazda 787B
TVR V8S
BMW M3 GTR
Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car
TVR Speed 12

Suprisingly, I have been recently addicted to my lightly tuned Corvette C3. Although it has been tuned the handling really baffles me with how light-footed it feels.

The Caterham Seven Fireblade on the nurb is the best thing ever :sly:

Mazda 787B... Just so fun to drive at Sarthe against other LMP cars.
Jaguar E-type coupe- Drifts so freaking easily, and those springs of it...

The Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2. It warms my heart when I see it. Also my excellent classic VW's, all fully modded yet they're all in original colours :D

A Lotus Elise 111R. It's so easy to control, making a good joyride for me.

Lancia stratos.

Per PP is it probably the best car in the game. But is totally unstable, drifts on RS tyres and any contact with other cars is going to kill you.

You can try and tune it, but at the end of the day, it always wants to kill you.

My Volvo Wagon. Seriously, most fun car to drive after an enduro.

Other than that, my CLK-LM (underrated car).

I agree with you on the Alfa Romeo TZ2! It is such a great looking car! And the handling is also phenomanal, it's a dream to drive in

The car that can brighten up my day is the car that suddenly becomes real...

All of the cars in the game are great, they feel so different and are all fun to drive and tune. I have no #1.
