The car that lifts my mood is the first car I race prepped. My Lambo Gallardo tuned to GT3 specs. The sound is one thing, but the flame spitting out the exhaust is quite another. Just glorious sounds!

My BMW M3 GTS that I slaved over to make it as close to a real GTS as possible. HP is accurate. Torque is very close. I found an orange that is dead on... not too yellow.. not too red... just right! On Sport softs around the Ring, I can slide that car with so much control. So much fun!
 
Kind of dull, but for pure fun I like whipping my Midget II around Eifel. Its almost like a Kart the way it slides around with a lot of power but not a lot of weight. Come to think of it, any small, light, and cheap beater puts a smile on my face. The Fiat challenge is a great example, love that thing.

Mercs, Beamers, and all that jazz are great too, and don't get me wrong I adore them all. But there's something about dumping "money" into something that shouldn't even be on the road let along whipping around a track. Would also much rather lose by half a second in a Midget having fun than cruising in a supercar to a 200+ lap lead 👍

You get the picture: coming back from college or work feeling down. You put your GT5 disc in the PS3 and... What is the car that you go to check out first, whether it's starting the engine or driving some laps...

I'm first: it has got to be the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP '10 I just start the car and take it on a short track like Madrid... It's sounds very pleasent when driving slowly and when I give it the beans, it puts a smile on my face right away... :dunce:

For me, it would have to be the Chaparral 2D '67 upon engine startup and on track. Performance is bloody brilliant, enough so to take on and destroy the 24H Nur race.
 
Stock 458 italia...725 hp supra burnouts...highway pulls in my 922 hp Enzo. That usually does it.

I just don't want to leave it in there... it gets hot after a while... I have OCD about those things...
 
My '07 Cervo. When I'm in that car, it means EZ money! No more XP needed, hit 40/40 last night.
 
Thought of another, just based on sound: the Audi R8 LM Race Car. Sounds deeper than any other top end racer--guttural, like it's speaking German.

The Lambos didn't really handle well, so they didn't get my smile up to a mile.

What really brightens my day... Mclaren MP4-12C. 'nuff said.
 
My RM'd Honda Civic... it just handles like an extension of my driving mind :)

I've beating many cars with those on Nurburgring just with the engine sound. :)

What do you mean put my GT5 Disc in? :) Mines in all the time :)
My car is the Ferrari California Completely stock, just jump in it, any track and Bam, day is better also helps when Bloc Party Helicopter is the BGM track too :)
