Well, unless you are Scrooge, many of us like to sell cars to get money. Somtimes this car may be worth a lot and sometimes it may be worth very little. Just wondering what cars people sell the most in order to get money, buy used cars, or to buy new cars.

Game 1: Audi Auto Union V16 Type C Streamline '37 (Sold about 4 times) 80%
Game 2: Autobianchi A112 Abarth '79 (Sold about 8 times) 14%

I havnt sold the Streamline in a while so i forget how much it gives you, I think about 250000Cr. The A112 gives a good amount of money (~8000Cr) for people just starting the game.
 
Contenders:
Ginetta G4 (sold maybe 10 as cash cow in beginner league)
Falken Mazda RX7 (at least 5 sold as cash cow)
Corvette C5R (I think) racecar (nice cash cow in US hall - sold at least 10)
Minolta Toyota (sold more than 10 as current favourite money tree in El Capitan enduro)

But the winner is:

VW cars! Since I will sell or give away every one I ever get, and therefore they are destined for a 100% record!
 
I don't like to sell my cars, but had to do it... sold my Cizeta :) I'd like to play the El Capitain endurance in A-Spec before using it as money-making-machine, and I ain't got time to do it.. :)
 
I've sold the Formula 1 car 4 times. Just leave the ps2 on over night when I want to buy a car (or 6) the next day. Works pretty well.

toyota rally raid from capri rally. i like to test all my cars on this track its my favourite so it makes sense. countless times ive sold it.

Same here. It makes for good handling and acceleration tests with the hills and curves and every car has to win this before I am happy. Plus, the prize money from winning and selling the RSC Rally Raid car gives me almost enough to counter balance tuning costs. So, I essentially make every car earn its keep. Even if it is just a collector car that I don't intend to drive often I make it reearn its value.

The "special" cars would be the exception to this of course. That's when I throw the F1 into a fun race to make up the cost difference.


I have probably also sold theCLK-GTR a dozen or so times as I worked my way towards buying the black beauties, but since then I haven't had a need for that much money, plus just general playing has let me hold a balance around $10 million. Never know when you will go on a few million dollar buying spree.

great idea! run the 'ring 24H with a car that will defo win, and if you get a color you dont have, keep it! get the same one and just sell away, 1 n half million is pretty good :D
 
Ive sold the Toyota RSC about 8 or 9 times and have probably sold 20 or so Mercedes CLK-GTRs. Mostly for money but Ive recently decided to win the DTM series in every car that you can use with only an oil change. The most challenging thing about it is trying to make sure that I have all the cars that you can enter into it.
I think Ive sold about 10 Toyota 88-CVs too

i do that alot. its fun when your up against a really strong lineup in just your 404Bhp Merc EvoII :D
 
actually when tuned correctly, the mercedes evo will tear them apart.
its a fun series though, so my mercedes has plenty of miles on it...
i'd assume the CLK is the most sold car in the game by far... B-Spec DTM is the official cash cow of this game.
should make a "moo" sound when you enter it

I saved one to run the race in. I hop in, win a new one in the same races, and sell the used one.

I've just completed the DTCM in A-spec, which means I am now free to re-run it iin B-spec in order to win the CKL GTR a few times. Gotta have 8 mil in hand in just about 300 more days.

I think on my last game I sold it around 8 times, hehe... Setting up drift cars get's pricey... lol

This game I sold it twice already!!!

Contrary to most here, it seems, I never sell any cars unless I have a complete duplicate (model and color, etc). There is so much easy money in this game there is really no need to sell anything or rerun any races just to get money, unless maybe you are a car collector and trying to buy every car. At 38% done (just before day 694), I had 9.2M credits just from running races one time each. I bought 3 of the 4 black cars and still had over 2M credits left. That's a lot of coin from normal racing.

I, like ViXeN, have sold the Minolta Toyota many times! El Captain 200 is easy to B-Spec and after the sale you make near a cool million. 👍

The Minolta Toyota is one of the best cars in the game, so I saved two. :)

i am actually surprised there are so many answers other than the Mercedes CLK-GTR race car.... I thought that would be the ONLY answer :crazy:
 
The Minolta 88C-V by far, then the CLK-GTR after thoes two theres a pretty even spread but I've not done that many series twice or more yet.
 
If You aint really far or advanced in GT4 yet then Tsukba Wet race Normal gives you 10k plus 90k for selling the MAZDA mazda6 touring car <-- the car is actually called Mazda mazda6 i aint repeating myself honestly :ouch:

You can build up a few credits this way :P
 
i sold loads of CLK GTRs, couple of RSCs and Renault 5 maxi rally cars, i cant remember but im sure i sold 2 F1 cars as well, i not sure on that one though..
