The Citroen Xsara rally car (graphics glitch)

Don't know if anyone else has noticed this, or if its only specific to the UK version, but when looking in (reverse) chase view at the xsara, you can see a 1-2ft long ariel sticking out of the roof, when looking in normal chase view it isn't there... heh :P anyone know of more inconsistencies like that?
 
yeah hold on..let me consult my neighborhood too much spare time on his hands and not enough goin in his life so he notices this stuff guy....BRB...:lol: j/k
 
I saw a glitch today actually..I was in the GT All stars in Amature with the F090 pissin off the LM Rx-7...God that's so much fun..Anyway....It was at Apricot hill and I hit him from the left side and all the graphix on the right side of his car dissappeared for about 3 seconds then re-appeared..it was in the replay aswell..Along with that...In the Seatle Endurance race..I think my game is glitched, because no matter how many times I race it..Whatever starts out in the 2nd position never moves from the starting possition for the entire race..
 
Let's get back on subject, though. This is about the Xsara Rally Car! I have never used this car in the game, so I wouldn't know. I might buy it to check that out, though.
 
:odd: Its not the big of a deal I have noticed it in a few cars in the US version so I don't think its UK specfic. I know of 2 cars that do it the Xsara and a Ford rally I don't know if its the Escourt or the Focus. I don't remember but yea its a minor glitch. Don't freeze your PS2 or anything.
 
I played GT3 yesterday on SSR11 in my Lancer Evo VII in the Polyphony Digital Cup and there was a glitch. It didn't stop the game, but it was like there was an earthquake, and the game screen shaked! That was the only time it happened, though.
 
Heh, the Xsara Rally car is quite "elongated" to me...that's what it seems like at least...

true, i did notice a LOT of errors in GT2 though, dunno if anyone also had the same kind of problems. not in the actual game but the menus were all over the place. if you tried to enter the NA races with a turbo car, it said "sorry you need a turbo car to enter this" and it said the opposite when u tried to enter TURBO races with an NA car... but thats fairly minor what really surprised me was when it allowed me to enter the wagon races, the 80's cup, the american series etc with my skyline. i could race ANY race with my R34 except the FF, FR, and MR, of which there were about 9 races... made the game quite a bit easier... :P
 
One of the errors i noticed in GT2 after playing GT3 was that the cars were blended in with the road! :lol: ;)
 
more important is that the headlights don't do anything in any of the cars. why are they there?
 
Jesus Christ don't mention headlights not working, when I started that thread, it took about 2 weeks to bring to a halt!!

yeah i remember, if u want nice headlights get need for speed 3. in gt3 we'll just have to hold tight and wait.

another glitch....get the Focus RS and lower its suspension level to the lowest point then race it....the front and rear wheels appear to stick out of the front and rear wings....straight through the metal bodywork..!! :confused:

this might also happen w/ other cars also...but I cant be arsed checking
 
not to bring the headlights thing back but they do work ... juz not very far that they go turn when their on lets say ss11mid of the road turn a way so u can see the side of the car then right in front of it there is a light glare from the headlights
 
lol, you both said ur not trying to resurrect the thread but u both clearly are. the headlights issue has been discussed, if i find the thread i'll post a link to it.
 
when u go through the break out point in seatle and u can drive through buildings :D :D :D

same as the breakout point in monaco :D:D:D

Yeh, that's mainly because the buildings aren't made solid, because you're not meant to break out...;):p

this has happened to me too. worth noting is that the lap times, speedometer ect. also shook. it was too far in the race for me to bother watching the replay though.
