The Clio Race Car

Did anyone else notice that when you go into specs for the Clio Race, it does not show the horsepower? Maybe it is just in my game, but I could be wrong. How much horsepower does it really have, if it really isn't listed?

Must be a PAL/NTSC thing... I'm looking at the Clio V6 Race Car's stats screen right now and it's saying 299hp at me (I changed the oil)...

Boosted & broken in, it's right around 500 HP....don't have the game on right now.

Yes, it does. But I'm not about to break in 182 cars (minus prize cars since they come broken in). So I sticked with virgin stats.

Maybe he meant like when you go to the actual stock stats thingo in the dealership, or when you have it? I think it's because it isn't based on a real car, and for other cars they are concepts so they didn't put in a horsepower figure on the stats page.

That's what I meant, Dodge the Viper. When you go to its specifications, it doesn't show anything in the horsepower area.

did you see the road test for real life car in Top Gear this week...?

its a Clio alright but with a 3 litre V6 turbo engine where the back passenger seat should be...there isnt even a boot in the front...it does 156mph stock...man that guy totally lost it during the test...its a hell of a car....

in the PAL version it doesnt tell you the HP of the car in my garage but when you try to upgrade it it tells you the power....somewhere near the 500 mark fully kitted out...

A car doesn't have to be fast to enjoy it, I've been running a standard version (just 262bhp) in sim tyre challange on the spot race forum (managed a 1:56.974 round monaco) and its just great fun to drive due to its mid engined V6 drive train ........even does a bit of power oversteer..........I guess not everyones into the idea of drivers cars and prefers all out power and speed........don't get me wrong i enjoy thrashing a high powered motor around as well but sometimes theres more fun to be had in a slower car

The Clio V6 would make it to my top ten garage and is high on the list as a replacement for my real car........just got to find around 20 Grand

Clio V6 Cup Championship........hmmmm.........online racing..........could be fun

yea i like Slower cars too ie S2000 type V, mini Cooper, ect.

S2000 a great car especially when modded by spoon love the way the engine revs to 9000rpm. Don't know about the mini in GT3 sold it on as soon as it was one

another personal favorite is the MS elise just equip it with race suspension and sim tyres and theres plenty of fun to be had.

Best thing to do is change to a Clio and go and do some laps
