It's the same lenth, a foot is a foot, an inch is an inch. The size of the person measuring doesn't change how long the measurment is.
i think he means how the snail would see the situation that lies ahead of it

Just work out how small a snail is in proportion to the average man and then times the size of the Ring by the difference and thats what it would be like for something as small as a snail.

So let's say a snail is 3 inches long. And a made-up average height for the adult male is 6 feet. That's 72 inches, or 24 times the length of our snail. The 'Ring is about 13 miles long, so 24 times 13 is 312. Our snail would feel that the 'Ring is 312 miles long, or 19768320 inches. Thats 50211532.8 centimeters for our Non-Imperial friends.

God knows why I'm doing math on a friday night.

lol i was just about to say whether you were just bored or had no life vonie(no offence)
(btw why are ya doin math on a friday night?and also us canadians use cenitmetres too[sry just wanted recognition])

I think that could be the answer, but what I meant is that the snail will have to travel little bumps that a human would only walk over. For example a human in plane will travel 100 kms while someone one foot could walk over a hill for a total of 110 kms and they both did the same traject (point a to point b) and the plane had no hills to travel over. So in fact from an atoms view, the nurburgring would be going towards infinity.

why did the #2 GM plant in the western hemisphere shut down
p.s. this plant is in oshawa, canada

A bad combination of the two.

And I amended my post for your other comment.

masta: I guess now it's pretty much unanswerable.

If there is a 100 meter race track and you travel half of the remaining length of the track with each step, how long will it take you to get to the finish line?

It'll be infinitely long. For those who didn't understand 100/2¬50/2¬25/2¬12.5/2¬6.25¬3.125¬etc. and it'll never end.

I don't understand...

He does half of the REAMAINING length so he does 50 m the 25 then 12.5 etc.

Well....

You'd travel 50m, then 25m, then 12.5, and so on forever, just cutting halves in half, never actually reaching the finish line.

Oh I see now, like radiation half-lifes?

Famine
Sorry...

Words that sound the same, but use different forms.

Blimey, he's only gone and done it again, ALL HAIL THE ALMIGHTY FAMINE!:bowdown::bowdown:

Are there anymore unanswerable queestions out there, or is this thread going to die?

Why in gods name does everyone feel the need to put Lambo doors on their car as well as when someone does a PS Chop. :irked:

Why wasn't there a question mark at the end of that^ question?

VIPFREAK
Why in gods name does everyone feel the need to put Lambo doors on their car as well as when someone does a PS Chop. :irked:
Because they find it cool (not everyone has the same opinion though) and it's expensive and they think the more it costs the better.

No I'm here.

Ofcourse he's dead, they carried his body out of the house, dumped it in a coffin, nailed it shut and burried it six feet under.

Or did they...?

Enough people saw the body, so yes.
