Quick question, hope an admin or someone doesn't get mad and call it a noobie question. but;

If you buy one of these Black LMP race cars, does the original or the black one become available in arcade mode?

This is a reply to the question about where 2 of the Black LMP cars will be:
They will be in the car lot near Japan and Korea amd stuff. Or if u don't know where that is its the only lot on the right of your home. They be at the very bottom.

Now to the most recent question:
Yes, they will apear in arcade mode as another color choice for that car.
 
i could only afford the mazda 787b and the r92cp

i noticed tho that when i bought my 787b without an oil change it had 790bhp 100hp more than the dealer versions and olso my r92 had 870bhp whereas the dealer version has 788hp

with an oil change the 787b made 850 odd hp and the r92 951hp

What car do you recommend using for this competition? I was trying to use my CLK Touring car that I won in another competition and I had it suped to Turbo Stage 4 with 700+ hp, and I tried using 5 speed and overtake option, but all my car did was stay in last place the whole race. What is this "3X" you talk about? In other words, I need help being a successful B-spec'er!

This may sound basic, but make sure you have racing tires on there. MIne had sport tires left on from the previous race and I got my ass handed to me, when the racing tires went on, I set the B spec to 4 and overtake and dialed it back to 3 when I got into #1. My car is N/A too, no turbo on my CLK.
 
Hey. Got a question on these Black LMP cars...
I've not read every page of every thread on these cars, but whenever I read about them so far, I've seen they're supposed to show up in Used Cars Showroom 1 & 2... Exactly which showrsooms are these? On my (european) version of GT4 it says "Used Cars 80's" "-mid 90's" and "-late 90's". My guess would be that Used Cars Showroom 1 is the 80's, and 2 is the mid 90's?
Kind of important question atm as I'm just making sure I'll have enough money for the correct day, and I'd hate to put myself in a position where I can't find them.

Although I dont have your version of the game, I'm pretty sure they will show up in the "-mid 90's" and "-late 90's". They showed up both times (694/1394) in the later model used car lot equivalents in my version. Either way, as long as you don't buy anything, the day won't change just for looking in the lots. You will find them. Just remember to get there on 694 to assure the time to buy all 4. You loose a day each time you buy and they are only there for the week.

btw... they showed up clear at the bottom of the lists in my version... two in each lot.

If I were to only buy two of the black cars, which two would be best? Are all four pretty close performance wise?

Obviously this is strictly opinion but, if I were to only buy two it would be the Nissan R92CP and the Mazada 787B with the next choice being the GT-One Toyota and the last choice being the Nissan R390. For some reason or another to me the R390 seems to be a barge in GT4.

If you look closely in the Nissan manufactuer, you will find the 1998 Nissan R390 GT1 Le Mans Race car and the 1992 Nissan R92CP Race Car in combinations of colors. In the Toyota manufactuer, you will find the 1999 Toyota GT-ONE Le Mans Race Car (TS020) in a red/white color combination. If you also look in the Mazda manufactuer, you will find the 1991 Mazda 787B Race Car in a green/orange combination. On day number 694 :) , you will find these cars in the used car showrooms I & II, with 2 cars in each showroom. All of these cars will appear in black and only are for sale for 1 week. All of these cars are worth about 8,500,000 CR :yuck: . I also think these cars pop up again on day 1394 :) for a week only. These cars should have the same specs as the ones in the manufacturers. In the Korean version, I would suspect all of these cars would be in the mid-90s showroom because all the cars were made between 1991 and 1999.

You need only about 8.5MM to get them all on day 694. I think its Feb 23. I got them last night! There were 2 in the Used Lot 1 and 2 in Used Lot 2. Holla back VA!

I heard they appear from days 694-700, but I missed out the first time around.Get ready to be happy though, because these 4 black cars reappear on day 1394. I know because I just bought them, and am broke now. Oh well. The `91 Mazda 787B and `92 Nissan R92CP each cost 1,224,999 credits & are in showroom one at the bottom of the page. In showroom two you`ll find the `98 Nissan R390 GT1 and the `99 Toyota GT-One (TS020) each priced at 2,924,999 credits. They also are at the bottom of the page.I play the NA version. Hopefully this info helps someone out, but if not at least I feel better.
 
Within the Extreme Race stadium, I previewed a Dream Car Championship, just to see who is racing. One of the AI cars was an all flat black RX7 LM race car, similar to the black LMP cars.

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I'm wondering if every race car has a flat black version?

But the dealerships only have the standard colours. Has anyone bought them new ?? And if so, when do they appear in dealerships ??

They don't... Least as far as I am aware The good news is... new ones get used the minute you drive 'em anyway. ;)

Prefacing this answer with, as far as I know, while many may have a black version, it isn't the same as the "Coveted four". Upon completion of the game you are presented with a "shiny" black F1 car. There is the "Carbon Fibre" version of the RX7 LM race car (or at least that is what many call it) and I have seen black versions of other race cars. However, the used 4 black ones discussed here are unique in the game.

Check post #311- For me it is personal preference except for the barge :) I haven't really read where anyone is touting the exceptional qualities of the R390 (blue or black) in GT4. As for the personal preference on the remaining 3, I just seem to be able to do better with the Mazda and the Nissan... It might be a 5 gear spread using a DS2 thing and it might just be psychological.:) Or, it could just be the annoying donald duck like motor noise the GT-One makes :lol:

saved up 12 million (only took me 1 day (real life, not GT)!) and got them on the day :)

advice- 💡 get a chassis refresh and change the oil as soon as u get dem because they need it
 
Oh yeah, scored all four last night, caught them the second time around. Next project will be putting all four in one photomode shot via some Photoshop trickery.....
 
What is the exact cost of all 4 cars in the PAL Version. I'm on day 670 with £7m so now would be a good time to save us for any extra I would need or will £7m allow me to buy all 4?
