Man, PS players must've dipped or something. Not very competitive on my end.

On Xbox you get Platinum with 1 million points. Out of 10k players ranked, only 2000 make 1mil. Not difficult. I guess is similar to the PS situation. On PC seems to be much more competitive.

I normally finish Top 1k, regardless of the rewards.

Speaking of rewards, not counting the upcoming Red Dutchess, I still have 30-odd Summit cars left to get. And IF they keep the servers up until the game's 10th Anniversary, I should be able to win them without worry.

It seems that Summit cars appear every other week, so I should get the remaining ones I missed within the next year and some change.

Speaking of, the Bugatti Edition One looks to be coming back with Magic City.

I was doing another run from scratch trough all events to see how much money/xp you can get for doing every event on normal difficulty. Turns out you can earn 6+ million Bucks and 1 million XP. Which is enough to buy what you want. But than I decided to grind Hobbies anyway just out of curiosity.
Completed all Hobbies that require a reasonable amount of time and got 1200 rewards.

After collecting everything my money maxed out. 100 millions.... I wonder if it's intentional. I mean I got 100 after doing almost every minor task.

Maybe I should do that, just run through everything on Hard or Ace and see how much I get. I have been struggling with finances lately ;)

Does the devs have any plans to let us use our own content offline for track editor in the future? I would love to create my own tracks for personal use if the servers ever gets shutdown. I love the feature to be able to create our own tracks since a lot of the events in the game are usually short. I know it's kinda weird to ask now but it's mostly to calm my insecurities about the game mode.

PS I do have a tendency to get insecure for often no reason.

Forgot how twitchy Aerobatics is, especially with a controller. Most of the time, I can't do a simple loop.

I have the steering linearity turned right down to 3 notches from the left as all the vehicle types are too sensitive for my steering, although being used to the invisible steering dampers in GT and Forza doesn't help with that.

Sorry for the double post, but this week's Summit has a very weird and unusual bug!

The event bottom right is also used in the Touring Car Summit next week. Whatever score you get in the event this week, is showing as your score in the same event for next week! (The event for next week also shows as completed and the 45k is ticked).

Hoping this clears itself when the Summit rolls over, otherwise it will be annoying.

2 other things.
1. The weekly hobbies haven't moved at all for me this week, so I can't get any stars.
2. A full week of nothing but our US Speed Tour chum in this Summit, which should make @strela ecstatic
"Here we are now, entertain us"
"The drivers certainly won't be in neutral"
Etc etc
Although I don't think we get "If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere" :(

The Summit that I will dread to complete is Carnage. I'm never good with Demo events in Summits. Plus, I don't have any good sets for that discipline yet.

The last race is... New York... 😫

There are no good parts for Arena as far as I know. I can't see any difference with a normal set or the Nitro Chemist with maxed Bulldozer and Pure.

I have to say, for me personally, this week's TC2 Summit is the most boring summit ever. The tracks are all far too similar for it to be interesting to do them all the same week. Literally just drive each event once, score >1300k, guaranteed platinum, do something else for a week. The escape was the only slightly interesting event, as I don't think I've ever done that one before, so it took a bit of repeating to become able to consistently score close to max points.

I knocked out this Summit real quick, mainly because I used the Mark II for basically everything but the Red Bull race.

Don't worry. I just ran it on my PS4 account and it doesn't feature those infamous words you love... ;)

I don't think most of us are looking forward to the Demo Derby week as we don't have sets ready. But that might make it more competitive and more interesting.

Next week is all TC races, so I doubt @breeminator will enjoy that Summit either.

Something I found on the PS4 run (which doesn't happen on the Series S) and which I'd long since forgotten about. The bug that sometimes happens where you add upgrades to a car but it drives as though it is still stock, happened to me today. I moved my max parts to the Alpha Mark II, ran the race but at the first attempt I was woefully underpowered and realised I was driving a "stock" car. Second attempt at the race and I was out in front as expected.

I can't believe this bug still exists after all these years.

I'm hoping they add some little QoL things if the community asks.
Two of them would be an offline design editor, just for enjoyment and the second would be the capacity to have a personal use for the track creator offline to drive our own tracks at our own pace.

It's looking like it might be relatively competitive for platinum on PC. Cutoff is already 600k, which is pretty high for this stage in the week. I imagine it's because a lot of people will already have had at least the RB14, so it's a cheap summit to take part in.

I've never seen a cutoff higher than 1260k, but I'd be very surprised if it became THAT competitive.

Sorting the garage so that you start on the left (highest performance rank) and not the right (the 10pp VW Camper van) would be a welcome QoL fix and surely wouldn't take a lot of resources.

To add onto that:
  • Sort by mileage (like in Motorfest)

I posted a question about the track creator's potential existence offline for personal use on the TC2 discord.

Apparently the chance of a track creator mode going offline isn't 0%. They said they're not sure and don't have any news about it but at least they didn't say "no". I mean, I won't expect it though.

I noticed my cars' mileage/kilometerage is stuck to 0 when offline. Is it normal?
