The No Stripe spins less in launch, which I guess makes it "faster"
Another PD mistake.
Well, though I don't own a GT no stripe, I did (try) to tune the GT premium, and it's no exactly terrible when it launches, wheelspin taking the engine revs just about to the start of the redline, so I can't imagine how well the no stripe can launch.
Anyone haz video of no stripe vs stripy?
I have both, I will try to get a video of both of them racing. Slash and Kenny, sooner or later I will send you a GT or a No Stripe. Both will have the exact same tune.
What's all the fuss about these guys not being friendly and helpful? See how friendly they are!![]()
I don't get it either.![]()
Yeah, probably. Nothing like a good ol' pissin' contest
👍
Why is it that the GT no stripe is a bit faster then the GT with stripe? I mean they are the same cars just different body paint.
The explanation I read (seems plausible) puts it down to the no stripe being a port from gt4 slightly different physics etc.
By the way, you dont seem to be on my friends list anymore Kennyso send a fr and let me know how you want your no stripe restored/run in, painted and loaded or standard you too Onboy 👍
lol you said you have them![]()

That's true. The no stripe is the only FGT that's straight from GT4. Back then, the FGT was the 'cover car' or 'title car' or whatever you want to call it. PD modelled it to be a bit better than it really is. That's why it has unrealistic grip. Same with the gtr in GT5.
The explanation I read (seems plausible) puts it down to the “no stripe” being a port from gt4… slightly different physics etc.
