From your experiences regarding what you feel is the most dominant car for each power range in GT5, add your car(s) for these power ranges.

150-250hp

250-350hp
Lotus Elise RM (with or without Turbo)/Suzuki GSX-R
350-450hp
Acura NSX RM/Honda NSX-R
500-600hp
Mazda Furai
600-700hp

700-800hp
Peugeot 908
800-1000hp
Formula GT
Above 1400hp

You can't mix the F1 Ferraris on a grid with other cars, so the 700-800hp has to be something else.

Elise '96 RM is better than the Elise 111r RM in the 250hp and below. But the Suzuki GSRX is up there too in the 250hp and below class.

Really? I'll have to get my hands on a '96 Elise then. :D

So, I'll guess that the 700-800hp range would be filled in by either the Peugeot 908.

Yes, as VTiRoj has stated, the Elise RMs are easily the dominant force in their range.

@dabest Karts are in their own category, if they could run one lap of Nurburging without crashing, I would count them:lol:

From my experience, the 96 is better than the 111r as long as they are tied in HP, since the older one is noticeable lighter. I don't know how much power the 96 outputs when fully tuned, but at max power it is still better than the 111r with the same output, the old one starts to fall behind as you tune the 111r since it has way more room for tuning. Only drawback is that the old has a 5 gears gearbox.

Well my range for hp is diffrent from you
200-300
300-350
350-400
400-450
and so on so forth I usually go off a 50 hp differences because my 393 hp civic does very well with rm Elise so and my rm integra does well with cars up to 425 bhp it only has 399.. So it all depends and user or were going to have to wait for pp points or car class to decide this

My Suzuki GSX-R4 concept totally blows the elise R/M out the water (fully tuned of course, with 281 bhp) i would say it is probably THE dominant car in the 250hp - 250hp range. Laps are a lot faster round the top Gear Test track, that thing can beat JGTC cars round there easily.

My FTO super touring car Is 495bhp & runs the ring around 6:3*.***

a good one for 600-700 bhp is a fully tuned Nissan 300ZX, with a few tweaks to the suspension

150-250 HP = Alfa Romeo GIULIA TZ2 carrozzata da ZAGATO CN.AR750106 '65 (Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Gran Turismo Trophy 2009)

I can't really say since I race with power and weight limits to avoid the issue, but I guess if you went through every car and compared power to power/weight, you'd find the answer.

Haven't driven the Furai, but I guess it's either that or the Z06 (not ZR1) RM for 600-700.

Can confirm you can kart around the ring without crashing, just avoid rumble strips at all costs!
