The Dragger racing series

This is the official thread for the new race series i started for drag racers only. It is a circuit racing series for draggers. It will stop you from racing the pros in the other series. This is for a fun relief from drag racing. This will be a clean racing league but don't freak out if an accident occurs. There will be cautions to mix it up.

Rules
1. Friendly racing so dont freak out if something happens
2. All cars have all upgrades and are broken in
3. Race will start at 8:30 pm eastern time on saturdays
4. Qualifing will start at 8:00 PM EASTERN time

How to join
Post Psn and Gtplanet name
Car Color of your car
Wheel color of your car
Number you want if we have a car with number plate​

Qualifying
Qualifying will have a 8 minute free run. Then that order is used for the 3 lap sprint. But first and second will be determined by the times, while third and on is determined by a short shootout (like the Gatorade duel). I did this to mix it up. It will be two or three laps long.

Race format
There will be three heats. First heat is by qualifying position. Then secound heat is reverse order. While the third heat is determined by random draw.

Point System
This will have a point setup like Nascar
1st-16 points
2nd-15 points
3rd- 14 points
4th- 13 points
5th- 12 points
6th- 11 points
7th- 10 points
8th- 9 points
9th- 8 points
10th- 7 points
11th- 6 points
12th- 5 points
13th- 4 points
14th- 3 points
15th- 2 points
16th- 1 points
Then you get one bonus point for leading a lap and another bonus point for leading the most laps. This will keep it simple.

Official lol? I'm not sure general users can use the word official in thread titles, etc...

But anyway, this is a good idea. Do you need to be a drag racer to join this league?
 
Well you get the point because of my old thread. Lol. But it is preferred I mean its geared towards the drag racing community. But its whatever I guess.

Well, sorry to finally tell you, but New York time is 9:46 and its 6:46 here in Cali...
 
Detroit is no where near New York nor California. (I don't live on the east MAN) lol

So it's a race, but not dragging? Or are we dragging on the straights of the High Speed Ring?
 
No not dragging. It's a actual circuit racing for draggers. But that would be a good idea.

Not a drag race so moved to the correct forum. Also removed the word "Official" from the title as it's not.
 
Ok thanks for removing official. Didn't know how and I'm a newer to gtplanet. I didn't know about official. Also this is for the drag community only. You have to be a draggers to be in this. This is why its ok the drag racing forums.
