Anyone here on GTPlanet practice ear stretching, or any other kind of piercing stretching?

I've always wanted to stretch my ear lobe piercing and just 4 days ago I took the first step. I went from the normal size of 18g to 14g. I skipped a size, stupidly, I bought the jewelry without knowing any better. But it went in way smooth with no swelling or bleeding. Here it is.

Yes, I have a fat ear lobe

I want to reach size 0g; this will take seven and a half months taking into consideration you let the bigger size in for a month each time.

Here's a size 0g

Share your kind opinions(), I know some of you will think it's repulsive and nasty, but whatever. If you have any piercings, you can share them here.

I entered the thread expecting to hear some musical chords and discern the intervals!

And, no I haven't done anything to my ear. Besides I have a piple right at the fatty area making for a natural earing.

A couple of mates have started stretching their ear peircings, one is up to 4mm (I think).

I'm not one for fashion like that. The think is however if you come to the uk you will have it in the "gay" ear, they are the opposite from the uk to america, so I have warned my mates never to go to alabama. (reference to top gear eppisode)

If you want to get a job in the professional world I'd suggest against stretching your ear lobes. Right or wrong looks play a huge roll in whether you get the job or not.

I'm 13, it seems that most of the boys in my class have had their ears pierced.

And most of them look ridiculous...

I've always told this to my buddies.

It's akin to showing up for a professional interview in jeans and a T-shirt. It just doesn't seem worth it considering that some day you'll be old and wrinkly and hate the way it looks.

I watched my friend go from an 18g to a 0g in the matter of a night once. Pretty painful to watch, with a bit of blood to go with it. We were pretty gone at the time, but I remember he wasn't too bad the next day.

I've read in various places, and also heard from a friend with both earlobes stretched, that at 0g your earlobes can still close up if you leave them without jewelry for a week or so. If you stretch past 0g you basically reach "the point of no return."

Yeah, that seems like a very idiotic and painful thing to do. :scared: He probably damaged his lobe horribly for life.

Pretty much.. As much as it sucks, anything that makes you unique will work against you unless you are trying to get a job selling t-shirts on the boardwalk (which is cool, just don't expect to have heat coming out of your vents.)

I dunno, I guess I'd just prefer my ears to not be perforated. It's cool that you like to do it, but it's not for me.

EDIT: Although I've read in the past that a 2 gauge is the "point of no return".

I'm sure he did, although a couple of years ago he took out the bolt and his lobe closed back up and looks fine.

A friend of mine, the singer in my band to be precise, has these things and he loves them. Personally i think they look ridiculous, he has stretched them up to around 35mm, and i'm pretty sure he has some sort of "stretch my ears bigger" addiction as he wants to go more.

Not a fan of them personally, they never go back to original size/shape, especially not if you stretch them big.

Edit : that "0G" size you show in the picture, really isnt that big to be honest, tiny in comparison to my friends.
