what car did you use and the tires you used to win the race. because i used a cobra and it was much faster than the other cars but i had to pit all the time. i was thinking about using my 63' corvette race car with medium sports tires, does sound good?

Since you can only use "sports tires" in this race, if you use medium, the rest of the field will pass you. Use hard tires and a car with enough power to keep up with the field, wich ever cars you're competing against. Do it in b-spec first and see how it goes. Also, if the tires spin from too much power, they will wear out faster. Try a couple laps with different cars and see wich feels best for you!

I used the Mercedes Touring Car (@750 hp) with hard sport's tires. Way too easy. Next time, i'll use something less powerfull.
BTW: Beware of the Zonda

I used my Trueno SS  . Most intense endurance race I've done yet, besides the Nurburgring one. I think I only won by a couple of seconds.... but it was so much fun.

zonda lm with med tires, I think I had to pit every 2 or 3 laps, but it was sooooooooo fast, lapped the field twice.

Geez you guys take the fun out of the game.

I used the 22B stock with Sport Mediums. Didn't have to pit excessively at all.

I used the Mercedes CLK-GTR Race Car 98 that i won from the German Touring Car races and lapped the pack by about 5 or so laps using sports hard tyres ;). That Minolta Toyota 88C-V Race Car is perfect for winning the Le-Man 24 hour endurances :).

I used a Lancer Evo MR with around 370hp and the standard tire (is that S2? i forgot)
I am a lot faster than the computer cars, but I have to pit every 6 laps

Me too...

I put Sports hard on the back and Sports soft at the front...

However it was far too superior for the field...

Look forward to repeating this race in full A-Spec with a car that is more equal...

I also used this car for the NY enduro race... don't reckon I'll be repeating that though... hate that course... glad it's out of the way... watched TV during it!!

Same here, I've used that car for most of the endurance races now, the HP is gradually dropping with all the miles its picked up.

I used an M3 GTR. A Lotus Motor Sport Elise chased me the entire race. I was one lap better on tires and ending up winning by 50 secs.

Those Lotuses are fast. I beat one by 24 seconds on El Capitan.

Motor Sport Elise

Racing Transmission, Racing Flywheel, Triple Clutch, Stage 1 Weight Reduction

Make sure no other elises in the field (they WILL leave you for dead) and make you opponent the Shelby 1 Series

Its on hell of a tough close race early on and its not clear if youll win but pit every 13 laps with sports hard on front and rear (mediums on front make the rears wear out faster so its bad. Won by 30 seconds cause i REALLY pushed at the end.

1st time around I used the M3GTR. Stellar car. Sticks like glue and oh that redline!!!
Next time I might use something more evenly matched though. Possibly an Elise or Esprit.

I used the SRT-10 Viper with Hard/Hard tires and won with no problem.

HPA Golf R32 alternating between hard and mediums. I won by 11 sec, but B-spec BOB couldn't keep up with the motorsports elise, though.

I used the Cadillac Cien on the standard tires. Won by 3 or more laps. You win this car in the first easy special conditions race ;). If you wear it out just throw it away and win another one easy.
