how the hell does b spec bob get such a big lead? from what i've seen hes anywhere from 10 seconds on smaller tracks to a full minute off my pace.

my problem with using b spec is that the miles add up so fast bob now as double what i have (8,000 a spec vs 16,000 b spec.) i'm slowly working my way up there though. those dame 24 hour races is where he got most of those miles.

O.K. I feel that I need to enlighten you all on which car to use. I've A-speced this race about a dozen times as a cash cow and to procrastinate.

I have tried heaps of cars and the best way is with the opera s2000. You can do 17 laps on hard sports (just) so the best way is to do 17, 16, 17, 16 lap stints.
You should be able to consistently do 1:46 - 1:47sec laps and finish in around 2 hours and win by 4 laps. The other cars will destroy you on the straight, but there seems to be something wrong with the handling of the AI cars in this enduro. you just have to look at the camber on the rear wheels of the GTR-1 or whatever it is.

You will be around them all, including the Elise by the end of the first corner, and from there its good night.

and what a prize car!!! 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

No, you're missing the point. Use as near standard a car as possible, and have a really hard race with that darn Motorsport Elise snapping at your heels all the way. Last time I used a 320bhp RX-7 that was otherwise bog standard, and the race was a blast, not just a cruise from the first corner. Make it harder, sweat for it, that's the way forward... :scared:

Personally when I get home from school, I'm going to attempt it in my 95' R33 N1, or possibly the sileighty if im feeling like working for it. This is probably the best enduro out there time and track wise 👍

Maybe if i can get my hands on a savanna rx-7? hmm..

I find (even) I can make up a lot of time through the first hairpin and the sequence up to the tunnel. The AI just don't seem to put the corners together into combinations right. Especially the esse after the hairpin; they all go way too slowly. If you're contemplating a British car, the British GT series has an El Capitan race you can practise at.
