Seems like Asha Sharma really lit a fire under Todd Howard's ass.

ES6 is still a couple years away, but Fallout 3 and New Vegas are getting remasters. Obsidian is working on a new Fallout game and Fallout 5 is in pre production.

My expectations for ES6 are low, same with Obsidian's Fallout game. I'm not sure they're capable of making a blockbuster RPG like NV anymore, their recent games have been pretty mid. Fallout 5 is probably 10 years away.

"But but we've been working on all these things for ages" is probably a concise summary of what they added to their statements over the weekend.
Which is, to be fair, probably true (in my opinion).
My guess is that Asha's issue is more that they have spent a lot of time and err "money that could have been spent on AI instead" (to paraphrase my wild guess at the conversation) on these things and currently have nothing earning "enough" money (because Starfield and Fallout 76 likely haven't performed to the "required" level). So they've been instructed to get some "cash cows" released like yesterday.

Using half the employees.
And 5 quadrillion percent more AI.

Hopefully these new remasters launch in a better state and get more support/patches than Oblivion did, and won’t just be another shadow-dropped bug ridden mess.

A crazy wish I know.
