Someone had to lose. I'm glad it's not G4, there are some talented hosts on G4, but not necessarily all of them. I would have liked to seen some sort of mix of the best of both channels.
 
what the fudge? They were saying during the days of the merger that they wouldn't be fired. Such a waste of an excellent channel. How can The Screensavers be the Screensavers without Patrick Norton and the other people
 
This does suck. I've been watching this show for a while now, trying to learn more about puters, since I suck at them.

However, the show wasn't that great after Leo left. That Saraha chick got on my damn nerves.

I have DirecTV, so what do I watch now? I've never heard of the this G4 show.

Wow, and you think they'd look at how high their praise level was before they fired the crew. I hate it when good shows die, it just goes to show how bad the other shows really are.

Well, that is completely bogus. There goes a great network down the drain. I watch TechTV almost every day. Now how will I find out how to do things on "The Screensavers"?
 
Unfortunetly, yes. They own TechTV now so they can do whatever the hell they please.

OMG!!! Does this mean I don't get to stare at Morgan Webb anymore?... This will not do.....

I watch Tech TV every day:

The Screensavers (that Sarah chick bothers me too)
X-Play (Morgan Webb.....drool)
Call for Help (sometimes)

I can't imagine not seeing these shows...... Damn, this has ruined my day....

Everyone sign that petition, and pass the link around..... I need my Morgan Webb fix........

Yeah, I just started to watch this TechTV about a month ago. I don't think DirecTV gets G4, but watching a TV channel strictly about video games is about as exciting as watching other people playing them....it gets old after five minutes.
 
From the looks of the commercials they've been showing on Techtv it looks like either none or most of the hosts have not been fired.
 
G4 has been showing previews of Tech TV at 1 PM. I must say Morgan is quite a hottie. :) The new channel will be called G4TechTV. How original. :rolleyes:

You should note that all employees, including all hosts, have received 6 week notices.

I have DirecTV, and we don't get G4. But, TechTV has started showing some G4 shows. They had the one on E3, and on pre E3. Looks pretty good.

I have DirecTV as well, and I saw those shows... They were pretty good, although with less personality than say X-Play......

I'm so pissed about this... What will come of my beloved Morgan...?......

I can say that I don't like anyone on the channel.

I'll never understand the infatuation with the girls of TechTV. The only one who is hot is the chick on Unscrewed. But the show is unwatchable because of Martin Sergeant.

The Screen Savers: Will continue. Details as to how are still unclear.

Call For Help: Canceled. Assuming the present production patern holds, the final episode will air May 24. Still no official word if this means Leo will have nothing to do with the network.

TechLive: Canceled. Final episode to air May 28th (before the "changeover" hits) according to info supplied by Becky Worley herself.

Fresh Gear: Will continue.Again, turning to Becky Worley herself, they'll continue production in San Fran through July 2. At that point things will move to Los Angeles, and it's not clear at this time who moves with them.

X-Play: Will continue. Production details remain unknown. A promising sign is that a large X-Play banner is hanging at the E3 convention... in addition X-Play will be the title-sponsor of the Best of E3 awards, similar to TechTV's Best of CES in the past. (Comcast clearly had a chance to turn that into a G4-branded event, but didn't.)

Unscrewed: Will continue. Details unknown.
 
Leo Laporte sucks. Why does anyone like the **** at all?

We had G4 TV for about a week, and it was basically the only channel I watched during that time period.

The only thing that is worth watching on Tech TV is Screen Savers and only when Leo Laporte isn't there. And Patrick Norton sucks, so it's better when he isn't there either. That young kid is pretty good, I don't know his name.

Morgan Webb sucks. Adam Sessler sucks. Cat Schwartz sucks. Roger Chang sucks. Chris Leary sucks. Lindsey Arent sucks. Sarah Lane sucks. Kevin Rose is cool. Martin Sargent sucks. Laura Swisher is hot, awesome.

I think I named most of the major ones.

The only show I've seen from G4 on the techtv network is "G4tv.com". I gotta say, I wasn't that thrilled about the hosts when it was Techtv but now that I've seen these to idiot blonds I have so much more fondness for Techtv. On that note Techtv was going down the ****ter and now with G4 they took it to a whole new low... :odd:
