Ha ha ha, I got a response to all that!!

The GT40 will smoothly and quietly drive right past that Esperante. I haven't driven the Esperante, but I eventually will try after I get one. Anywho, I am mediocre to the looks, but power doesn't make the car IMO. Balance of power and handling, along with driving skill, makes the car. Anyway, I still like my GT40 over the Esperante!

BTW, I like to watch the GT40 beat the Toyota GT-One on occasion...

GT40 quiet? LOL!!!!!! the esperante is a solid car, but it can get a bit fussy, especially to the inexperienced driver. give it a chance, and you will be rewarded :)
 
Hey! Take it easy, the GT40 is one of my favorites too! :)
After all it is the best looking car in the GT universe!
 
no doubt! im a big fan of the GT40 as well. and i busted nutz when i saw the new GT40 concept. man is that a beutifull tribute to one hot car or wut?

I tried my GT40 against one of my best Esperante ghosts, and I really had to struggle to keep up with the Esperante. (But it was pretty close sometimes.) You might be lucky though :)

I might add that my GT40 was at 699hp - 998kg
The Esperante was at 988hp - 1150kg

The GT40's hp might have been higher if it had an endurance or two.
 
Last night, I totally killed the GT-ONE in the Panoz, I was going 200mph on the front straight at Laguna Seca as well! :D
 
When I say the GT40 is quiet, I mean quiet. Have you ever watched a little of a replay with the GT40 racing in it. It just seems so quiet compared to the roaring of the mufflers and engines of the competition around it. When I am getting close to the GT40 in a race, I barely hear it. It can be beside me or right behind me, and I wouldn't know it. Any other car is easily spotted by the noise it produces.

And yes, I love the new GT40 as well. Beautiful with 500 hp and 500 ft. lbs. of torque. A great work of art!!! :burnout:
 
You guys are depressing me now! I just won the Esperante in the PRO Dream Cars at the 12th attempt (for some reason it keeps giving me damned Toyota GT-ONE's). I was looking forward to a bit of FR sprint & drift but if it really handles that badly I don't think I'll even bother! F1Kings opinion really bothers me most as I know we drive (or at least like) pretty much the same cars. C'mon F1, honest opinion of the Esperante and what's trully wrong with it.

Oh yeah, Capt Kirk you're spot on about the GT40. I don't drive it much myself but I should. It's lovely and quiet, responds well to a gentle hand and can kick some serious butt if it has to (sounds like my ideal woman rather than a car!)

f094h, I think the Esperante's looks are fairly fine too. Unconventional but that's what made it a car I wanted - it really stands out from all the rice-burning race cars that GT3 is too full of (but it is a Japanese game heavily sponsored by Japanese manufacturers I suppose).
 
Yes, the GT40 is quite nice. I haven't taken the time to use it yet though. I will eventually see what I can do with it.... 100% is getting within earshot now!
 
this car is WEAK period.
ya SURE u can change de settings BUT u can do that to any car!!!!
and the werst part is this car gets lapped by gts-class cars!!!!!(corvette, viper, & s7...)

I once raced a fully modded Jaguar XJ220 Race Car against an fully modded Esperante and the Jag totally creamed it. :D
