The whole show was 'amazing' (although mostly for the wrong reasons), yet it provided me with an almost constant laugh for a whole three hours - I don't know when that happened last!! I actually voted for Finland, so for once I truly believe the best song won... although the article in post #1 predicts that Bosnia-Herzegovina were going to win simply by collusive voting - he wasn't far off, despite the fact that the Bosnian song did that virtually impossible feat of both sucking and blowing at the same time... Lithuania were great, but the notable entries for me were Spain ('A Bloody Mary, por favor') who were unbelievably bad (worse even than us!), and of course the French entry, which was so bad, France should be kicked out with no chance of parole. The act themselves were atleast trying, but they went for the 'sophisticated, serious song'-approach that clearly was going against the grain just a smudge... also, they were not helped by the fact that their quite attractive, sophisticated lady singer unfortunately had a voice like a goose farting in the fog...
Still, atleast there were some good bits, especially the Lordi lyrics:- "It's the arockalypse!" and "On the day of Rockoning, it's who dares wins"

Also, the Latvian 'Bobby McFerrin' Appreciation Society and their ludicrious little robot, the Russians with their 'Woman in the piano' trick , and the Romanian entry who, inexplicably, was actually singing in Italian

Also, the Turkish entry (2nd from last) wins the prize for having the most camp male dancers, a dreadful irony given that the female singer looked like a bloke and was easily the most masculine person on the stage at the time... Also, I forget which country it was, but I loved the bit when some bloke burst out to do his guitar solo and someone took his guitar away from him before it was finished!
Apart from all that, it was really boring
