The Fast and the Furious

So I was just watching fast and the furious (1), and I literally facepalmed. Why the hell weren't they slipstreaming? the black guy could have won easy, even without NOS. And Dominic actually mentioned something about "real racing". Wow, I thought his father was a NASCAR driver, he of all people should know. And NOS actually blew up. But anyway, did anyone else notice that some Asian guy was playing GT 1,2 or 3 (I'm not sure) on the high speed ring, the scene just randomly cut to him in the middle of the race. Any thoughts on this?

I would assume most of us on here know this movie more than we know ourselves.

Yes I can even visualize he had a blue Mitsubishi GTO VR4 and slammed into the wall. I believe it was GT2.

Yeah I do remember that and I also remember them playing GT on the TV at another point in the movie. That first drag race was totally stupid. I don't know if it should be a 1/4 mile but if it was that was the longest one ever hehe. Man I remember when that movie came out and I wanted a car with a bodykit and NOS. It's good that I didn't have a license back then or I would've fallen into that trend probably, but that's because I was a kid and fire amazed me hehe.
