The Ferrari 458 Italia!

I LOVE the 458. It grips when you want it to, and it likes to slide through the corners on the normal tyres. Not enough to make you lose control, but just enough to keep you paying attention.

The Cervo's is a CVT preset with 7 speeds.

A Ferrari's is a Dual-Clutch 7 speed.

Suzuki doesn't even compare.

I think you'll find my Cervo has got a twin-plate clutch and semi-racing fly wheel. Not only that, it's been covered in glue and driven through Halfords, so it clearly trumps your manky Italian Dual-He-Man-Control 2 speeds forward and 5 retreat gearbox thing... :grumpy:

Judging by the fact no one replied to this the first time, I don't think anyone cares if they type it 4 5 8 or 458...

So the name of the car is "I Love You Italia".

Soo if you love the 458, you "4 5 8 the 458 Italia"

I'm just pointing out a fun fact for those that don't know, I was just trying to be playful.

Car is amazing, I've left the exhaust standard - as it sounds more like the original car, tuned up the suspension, lovely drive overall.
Was my first expensive car, and will never plan on selling it :) still in original paint and everything!

i love the italia and the enzo, the enzo wins out on looks. tis a very beautiful car

Im on the dark side,my first car of that caliber was a Murcielago LP640 and has now been with me pretty much since I started GT5,13k miles now.Great car..As for the Ferrari it's really good too,the stuff you read in road tests really do apply.It's like driving a scalpel lol.:D
 
Someone mentioned they didn't like the Gallardo. It's just different made purely for speed IMO. It's fun to drive in a different way like coming down that first straightaway into the 180 deg R turn on the Rome track. It blasts into that corner and you've really got to hold the line breaking because the suspension feels like it would fly all over the place if you didn't. But if I was to buy a "real" car for my own enjoyment it would be the 458. Love the combination of speed, power, sound and control in the handling. Sort of like a car you can "command" and it WILL do EXACTLY what you tell it, because it's one of the few that has the ABILITY to do whatever you needed it to do.
 
458 Italia is one of GT5's best cars and IRL too. Doesn't need much if any modifications to take on Super GT & LM's cars. Very easy to drive with its neutral handling and its really forgiving for any mistakes.

458 Italia is one of GT5's best cars and IRL too. Doesn't need much if any modifications to take on Super GT & LM's cars. Very easy to drive with its neutral handling and its really forgiving for any mistakes.

Yeah, it almost beat the Enzos time at TGTT.

But talking about one of its direct competitors, PD really failed with the MP4-12C. This is maybe one of the best supercars in our time, Im 100% sure that this car will run at TGTT under 1.19 (maybe 1.18 is possible). Every car review for this car has praised it. But in GT... Its just way to slow. Its fun to drive, also challenging, but its just slow.
Cars like the 458 and SLS, which are definetly slower (especially the latter one), beat this car in GT5.

Agreed! The MP4-12C was a huge disappointment (although not as huge as the Enzo or Veyron). At least the McLaren F1 is great.

The 458 was my third Ferrari bought since my driver didn't like my 430 Scuderia :( Personally, my favorite Ferrari is the 458 since the 7 gears is like sex :P
 
The mp4-12c is a sleeper for 1/4 mile drag racing at indy mine traps 158mph. It will beat everything except acr's and very well tuned ford gt's and enzo's

I might be having a Go slow day, but what does TGTT stand for? Ive only used the MP4-C12 in an online race and i like the balance and handling. While its not much of a looker, its definitely quick!

Both great cars, but not the best. The Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo will walk them.

Did you say a Amuse S2000 that 458 will kill that little car I got both.
 
I was saying my money is on the 458 and Scudera. I like the S2000, it's got pretty good power and handling.
 
It's a great jigger in GT5, but you should see what it's like in 1:1 to drive. It's incredible..... just incredible. I will say though that it does feel very "computerized" to drive, it's bizarrely smooth. The LP670SV and the LP570-4 Superleggera on the other hand..... are not.
