If it is a journalist, they better have the money. That was a perfectly good BMW. Hell give it to me and let me save some money up for the repairs.:p

Screw repairs, gimme the engine and transmission with the ECU.

I'll make myself a hell of a gokart.

I don't think it's the first one. They have test cars that they crash. It might be the first one to crash on the street.
Umm dude obvisously they HAVE to do crash tests on cars or else they cant relesase them legally.

I already know that & pointed it out in my statement above. It must have not been obvious to you two days ago when you said it was the first to be crashed.

I think he meant the first 'actual' M5 to be crashed. If you know what i mean.

I know that man but what I am trying to say is that its the FIRST NEW M5 to be crashed by the PUBLIC and not some goverenment testing company.

Yes that is exactly what I meant.

You sure that isn't a picture taken at the nurburgring or another race track?

Theres a grass verge, low barrier and a fence

True, it doesn't look too bad. New front body panels and some chassis repairs. Also no doubt a new radiator and I would think it should be okay. Aslong as the rest of the chassis isn't twisted.

That picture could have been taken anywhere since Journalist's that have test driven this car might have also went to a race track. As far as I know there is still no info yet.

Ouch, got hit right in the 507HP region ;) I haven't even gotten to drive on yet. Though here in the US seventh Gear won't matter since 6th gear tops out at 155. A guy that frequently visits already has an M5, along with his M3 that he raced in the Gumball 3000
