The first race - first win club

Who had the fortune to have their first Sport mode victory come in their first race?

I qualified for Big Willow with the Huracán Gr.4 with a time of 104% within the top10 times and had the pole. There was dirty racing and I made some mistakes losing the pole. Luckily, afterwards the leader messed up at that speed trap of the last sweeper turn. I regained the 1st place and won with a margin of 14 seconds. So happy to have managed to stay inside this punishing track for half a dozen laps and even more happy to win in my first try!

After like 25 races this remains my only win but the sweet taste is there to push me to win again. In fact I also had the fastest lap making this race a tripet. Non of the three to manage to get again.

Who else won in their first try? Was it contact-free? Describe what happened.

iirc I won my first ever Sport Mode race too, it was a Manufacturer's race with the Atenza Gr.3 at Suzuka :dopey:
 
Good for you!!

I think my first victory came in my 3rd race. It's still the closest win I ever got. Difference was something like 0.05s. Took a while to get another one.
 
Ahhhhh I remember my very Sport Mode race vividly...
I qualified first, and also took the win.
"This is pretty easy!", I said...

The next race I was on the lower midfield full of B/S and some A/S drivers...
 
I thought I remembered winning my first ever race, but looking at my stats, that was clearly not the case and I think the win came on the 2nd race:

I did! If I remember rightly it was the Evo X final edition road car one make on Kyoto (the short one), started pole and finished first. Probably the worst thing that could have happened to me because I thought I’d win every race after that!
 
first race eh? hmmm... not absolutely certain, but I seem to believe so...
My first day in sport mode I had a bunch of success... raced several "Caymen on NurbGP -1make" races and placed top 3 all but one race, and had my first win that day... picked up ~6600 Dr points my first day... but went from Sr.B to Sr.C (20points)... :blush:
Man I thought I was good... been very much humbled ever since.
 
I won my first three races in the demo but not sure that counts! Don’t think I won my first race when the game released I can’t remember!
 
I won my first Sport mode race by around 20s in a Gr.3 Hyundai but I did have about a months experience playing offline before I bought PS+.
