I love these threads. Deep discussions to try and validate or invalidate something, with not a single shred of evidence or proof of anything, other than a typed paragraph. Entertaining to watch:lol:
No need to be cocky. I posted a few posts above yours that he ran around a 7:36...
This forum is slowly turning out to be as bad as GTAForums with the amount of immaturity running around.

If you guys aren't going to contribute to the topic at hand and instead come off as an ignorant person, why even bother to reply?
Mods close this thread please, since this topic has derailed enough.

I was thinking of tuning my fit to 216hp with all the goodies that doesnt effect pp, and give it a try at nurb to see what lap times i get, but its way past my bedtime. But tomorrow bro, tomorrow ;)

With what proof? Where are the pics? Where is the replay? More importantly, where is the screen shot of his tune so we can duplicate his settings and prove to ourselves that the car is really that fast. Maybe it's true, some cars are nerfed, but without evidence of anything it's just rumours about innuendo about something you might have seen your friend do...maybe.

It wasn't an actual race, just something done during a Nurburgring free run. And sorry if I'm coming off an an ass. Finals in college have really stressed me out, thus shortening my temper. Even minor things can set me off.
I can recall that he bolted on all of the performance parts minus a turbo, and gave the car an oil change, putting it to around 216BHP.
He upgraded the suspension to Racing Soft suspension and installed racing brakes. He upgraded the transmission and clutch, gearing it to 174mph. And he installed an LSD.
Lastly, he did weight stage 3 and window weight reduction, and improved body regidity at GT Auto. It's a very solid car indeed, as I gave it a go earlier using the exact same setup and found it to be very grippy. Very little actual tuning was done. The only thing he adjusted was the transmission, gearing it to around 174mph as said above.

Haha...thought never crossed my mind. It's just that if we don't ask for some kind of proof, every guy and his brother will be posting in here about individual races, and things their friends said etc. The burden of proof is kind of on you before you even post to at least, in this case anyway, contact your friend and get some general specs. Otherwise it's just smoke...no offense...

None taken. I understand that proof is your best friend when talking about subjects like this. See above, I posted the tune for his Fit for y'all to try out. It's overall an excellent setup, and I had no problem whipping it around the 'Ring. I forgot to note that he also threw in NOS, but didn't adjust the injection quantity.
No hard feelings bro. Sorry about the outburst, but like I mentioned, college finals are being the burden of my week so far.

Not another one... First the Mira and now the Fit. PD what's wrong with you? Fix the game already!

It's alright. These heavily modded boxes with wheels have PPs as high as 620. Other cars in the same range would vomit in their face.

it did occur to me that the fit was too quick and grippy even with no tuning at all for that kind of car.

pretty sure it has been overdone

Does Spoon have a spare Fit with 256HP kickin around by any chance????? There is one in GT6 so someone can drive that around and see.

It's pretty ironic that users back in the GT5 era were complaining of their skylines not being able to be tuned up to 1000 HP and what not. Now we have users kind of complaining about the opposite situation.

I know Vtec cars are unbelievable fast for the HP but I think something is wrong either with you or with your car.
On the Nürburgring the suspension set-up is very important. It has to be very balanced, hard enough to corner well but still quite soft for the bumpy track and tight corners. On the ring it is all about handling, horsepower isn't that important.

Well I have a 09 Fit Base IRL...which is the Fit RS in JDM land. Minus the 6 speed and ground effects.

With a little power and sticky tires.........little suspension they are quite fun and competitive. BUT.....I agree no way my 09 with 200hp

then again........

K20 swap in a GD is nasty.

L15a7 Fit with 200? Its gotta be boosted....no Hondata for the GE8...no support for the motor....its a hard go to even turbo the thing....its gonna be custom.

Still food for thought. And yes I realize this is about GT6.....but the Fit IRL gets underestimated quite alot.

Google B spec Fit.....wait Ill do it.

Honda's B spec program.....kit is nice...uses stock motor...with some tweaks.

Because a skyline engine can easily make 1000hp. A Fit engine is the opposite.

Well, I took a fully tuned Fit, except turbo stage was 1, and it had 450pp, with sports-soft tyres. ~230hp and 920kg.
Did couple practise laps at Brands Hatch GP and got 1.36.8

Then i took stock S2000, added exhaust, and sports-softs and it had ~445pp and ~280hp and 1250kg. After couple practise laps at Brands hatch GP i got 1.37.3. That's with stock suspension, etc.

You can achieve lap time limit faster with Fit, because it's FWD compared to S2000, which is RWD. But with couple more practise laps I think i could beat Fit with S2k.

Nothing strange for me ATM....

Keep in mind that weight is very important on the race track, so tuned Fit with 900 kilos can be quite fast in corners
