I don't think they (Manew) were too concerned about the FA cup. What kind of team did they field? I'm quite sure there were no 1st team players on the pitch today.

By my calculations, they still had about 7 internationals in their team. Howard, one of the Nevilles, Miller and Djemba-Djemba started, and Scholes, Ronaldo and Smith were brought on.

So Manew, 3rd in the highest divsion, should still easily beat Exeter, 4th-ish in what is the fifth division.
 
Me and my friends should be able to turn over Exeter. It should have been a walk in the park really. WTF is up with United??

It's unbelieveable. I mean, even that mediocre Man U team should be able to thrash the likes of Exeter at least 3-0 or something like that.

Still, in the replay, Man U will thrash 'em.
Which is a shame really...
 
United looked good today, I suppose they bounced back well after us beating them. Kinda feel sorry for Borro though, Rooney's last goal (the voley) was awesome. I watched the Saints Pompey game as well, that was great in the second half. Loads of bookings, sending off and a penalty right at the end that let Soton win. That Crouch bloke is really lanky.
 
Pompeys Striker Kamara, it's a shame though because he was showing some skill and he did win them the penalty. But he got booked for diving (well looking like falling over) and then handling the ball infront of the ref.
 
I was glad Soton won. I dont really "support" them, but i dont want them to become another Leeds either.
 
I used to play against Peter Crouch, he was in the year below me at high school. I twisted him quite a few times 👍

Well to be honest he's better than both Man U and Arsenals keepers. But not better than Chelseas keepers, Cech and Cudichini are the b0x0rz.

You didn't see the save he made during that game where he had to change direction mid flight. A goalie is only as good as his defence and Boro are missing a couple of good defenders. Plus, with the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Heinze, Silvestre all on song who isn't going to look comfortable in goal. Seriously at the moment Man U have a decidedly average person in goal and from what i've seen from Schwartzer he is a much better keeper. For gods sake Arsenals keeper (Alumina) can barely keep the ball inbetween his hands without dropping it. Dare I say even David (Calamity) James is more reliable.
 
Arguing whether Almunia is better than Lehmann or vice versa is like arguing over which chocolate teapot is better!
