This seems interesting;

2012 MUSTANG BOSS 302 LETS LOOSE WITH TRACKEY; CHOOSE STOCK OR FULL-RACE CALIBRATION

444HP stock...who the hell knows how much more with the 'red key'. HP wars are awesome.

(I bet that dealer installed tune/key thing is a neat way around emissions & CAFE fuel consumption standards, thus, they don't let the various agencies rate the power output. That kind of engineering makes me all happy in the pants)

I grew up a subaru and nissan guy and I do still love those cars. 2 of my inlaws work for ford and let me drive several differnet mustangs and a very modified ford fusion. I am now hooked I go to as many ford events as I can and when my money situation is better I plan on buying a 2010 mustang, or a 2011, or a used gt500. I am also impressed that there reliablity has gotten alot better than before and may be buying a ford edge for my wife sometime soon!

Saw that today.

What I would like is a 3rd valet key that cuts power in half and has a 30mph speed limiter so the valet doesn't thrash it.

And an '01 4.6 GT Auto has nothing on a Civic Si.

Those 4 speeds autos kill the performance. My friend mike has an '02 auto with an offroad H pipe and borla catback, Bama tune and runs 14.1s in the quarter mile. If it was 5 speed he'd be in the 13s! You guys should race!
So you're saying a well worn '94 GT w/a blown engine is just as fast as a V6? Umm....

FWIW; the Cobra version is quite a bit quicker as it has different H/C/I and a shorter (but not short enough) rear end gear. Try to drive one w/o a blown engine though, I'd imagine that makes a difference.
Yeah... That's what I'm saying... 'Cause that's all I've got to compare to :(

RE: Gearing - I think the cobras had 3.27 gears, possibly a little higher numerically. Throw in 3.73s or 4.10s and it will FLY

Skip the 2010 mustang, get a 2011 for the 5.0, or '09 for body and same engine as the 10

Lots of aftermarket tuning solutions provide a Valet tune for that very purpose.

the 2010 is a great car and definitly out handles the05-09 out of the box plus it has the great looks of the 2011 you maybe able to get it for cheap too.

Hi guys, let me join the club. I had a Ford Escort when i passed my test for year, then a Escort Cosworth for six months and i now drive a Focus RS. Oh and i drive a Transit at work. Here are the pics.
My First Car - FORD ESCORT 1.8i LX

My Second Car - FORD ESCORT 2.0 RS COSWORTH

My Current Car - FORD FOCUS 2.5 RS with LUX PACK 1 & 2

I am a Huge Ford fan. My dad works for ford, as so did his. I have personally drove the 2011 Shelby gt500, 2010 taurus sho, 2011 5.0l gt mustang, 2009 fusion, and last of All the ford GT(for 10 minutes on a test track). My family currently lease's the New ford Edge and Flex. I'm currently saving for an 1992-2002 5.0l mustang gt. I will always drive a ford for as long as I live(17 years old now)! Therefore I'm a huge Ford Fan

Crikey, you've had some hot metal haven't you! RS looks great in white, best colour for it. How would you compare the RS to the RS Cosworth? Do you miss having the all-wheel drive traction?

I've only owned one Ford before, a 1998 Fiesta:

Humble, but served me very well for six years. Definitely a Ford fan, I've just only owned the one of them. Driven several others though, including a few other Fiestas, a Ka, a Transit and a Transit Connect. My ideal Ford is probably the Racing Puma.
