I'm not entirely sure how Wikipedia works, but if I'm correct all you would need is evidence to support your claim.

The Italian media is reporting that money is not the issue with Monza - Bernie reportedly has a problem with the proposed changes designed to accomodate WSBK. Apparently he is concerned that they will compromise the circuit. Motorcycle riders always whinge that the downforce generated by Formula One cars adversely affect the surface.Las Vegas being put in favor of Monza is moronic but all you have to do is throw money at Bernie and he will entertain the idea.
I can't imagine Ferrari being happy about that.
Las Vegas would be cool from a spectacle point of view...but I can't imagine the track being any good. Completely flat with slow and medium speed, mostly 90' corners. It would be a clone of Valancia,
Singapore, or Sochi, none of which do anything for me.
They'll race around the inside of the building that is where the F1 track used to be.With the current state of F1 it really wouldn't be surprising to see them back in a hot Vegas car park.
You're saying this to sometimes pessimistic F1 fans, who are scared for their lives of flat terrains. Try making a few dicey bits in car parks and everyone's going to scapegoat the crap out of Ecclestone and Tilke. There's actually a kind of genius in the madness, though - by running in a car park, they could literally do anything; they're not restricted to existing streets. They completely mangled it by trying to fit as much as possible into the smallest available space, but if a modern circuit cut through a car park or two to include some interesting corners, it could work very well indeed.
Vegas and F1 would go together like peanut butter and jelly
...You think it would be a revolting, inedible oddity?
I don't remember the old layout having a double 90 left/right like that first picture shows.
None of the famous landmarks around Las Vegas' Strip are going to be closed off for an F1 race. Casino owners aren't stupid...street circuits close off and restrict access to businesses and thus, it would only work if Bernie paid them to hold the race.
Even if it does happen, expect dull, flat, and featureless circuit composed on a grid of ninety-degree corners, located alongside zero places of importance.
