Does anyone know why India has been moved forward on the calendar?
I have a feeling that's their last chance. It seems to me Bernie though is having communication issues with the group and I would like to see more transparency.

Also I found this on Sky Sports regarding tyres for next year, I wasn't sure if it deserved it's own thread but it speaks about next season so it does have some relevance to this thread.

New Jersey would certainly beat Baltimore.![]()
Having a F1 race on the east coast is a joke and always will be a joke. Why Bernie never considered Sonoma as a venue is quite beyond me.
On another front, I really, really think F1 need to dump street circuits all-together, that includes Monaco but look to places such as Aragon, Misano, Okayama or Motegi.

Not a joke at all. And dumping Monaco would be a colossal mistake.
LMSCorvetteGT2Aragon is a good Motogp track but I don't see F1 being good for it...actually all the tracks you suggested are moto gp and SBK tracks. They don't have the needed run off and other facilities needed for F1 mainly and why you'd suggest them is strange. Yeah they're good Moto tracks but not remotely good enough to replace Monaco.
First of all the tracks I mention do have a necessary run-off space. As for why I mentioned them...these tracks are are great enough to produce some exciting battles and you add the fact that these tracks would highlight skill over technology
I could understand tradition but lets face it, when it come to overtaking street circuit don't really cut it.

Bernie Ecclestone confirms 22 races on 2014 calender including New Jersey should they be able to complete the track. In a interview with Martin Brundle he mentions he never knew a calender was released and that it only had 21 races on it.
They could complete the track, they just don't have the money to actually sanction the event.
autosportBahrain Grand Prix to switch to night Formula 1 race in 2014
The Bahrain Grand Prix is to switch to a night race next year, with the circuit set to confirm the news in the next few days.
AUTOSPORT revealed earlier this year that the Sakhir venue was considering a Formula 1 night race to celebrate the event's 10th anniversary.
It appears that those plans have moved forward with circuit chairman Zayed Al Zayani revealing at Monza that an announcement is imminent.
There had been some suggestions that Bahrain could become the 2014 season opener, but Zayani asked Bernie Ecclestone to move the race back in the schedule so it could work on the upgrades needed for the night race.
Bahrain hopes to finish the lighting project at the end of February, and a provisional date handed to it originally of March 2 was deemed too close for it to get everything ready.
"We requested from Bernie not to be the first grand prix of the year because we are undergoing a major refurbishment of our track to commemorate the 10th anniversary," Al Zayani told AUTOSPORT.
"We didn't want to be squeezed for time."
When asked what the upgrades were, Al Zayani said: "There are many things, but the highlight will be a night race."
Zayani added that Bahrain is still considering whether or not to have a full-on night race or a twilight event like Abu Dhabi. The race will therefore start at either 5pm or 6pm local time.
They could complete the track, they just don't have the money to actually sanction the event.
How do they not?
Looks like Bahrain probably go night for 2014:
Why exactly is racing on the East Coast a joke? Also Sonoma isn't Grade 1 or close to the standard and needs other work done. There are other tracks that deserve the upgrade more than that track Watkins Glen comes to mind.
I assume the hold up's in construction and not being ready for 2013 would have sapped an awful lot of there money.
