Can we reverse Miami as its rebuild every year for race 2?
They could quickly lay down some tarmac for the short tracks featured in iRacing.

Oh yeah, they wouldn’t be good for F1 at all. But it’s interesting that there are some proposed layout variants for a modern F1 street circuit.

Bahrain & Saudi are cancelled, no substitutions will be implemented.

It's interesting to me that the FIA has specifically said that the races "...will not take place in April." Sounds like they're leaving the door open for the races to take place later in the year, depending on how the geopolitical situation plays out (WEC tentatively scheduling the Qatar 1812km for late October probably helps in this regard).

Either way, while the situation that's caused this is no doubt far from great, I'm sure that at least some of the personnel in each team are probably happy to have a month off between Suzuka and Miami.

Gives the FIA and FOM a good period of time to make the inevitable adjustments to the current ruleset.

Another race in front of empty stands for sanewashing. Not sure why people are into the return of this, T8 is nice in itself but (at least on cars before 2026) killed the racing with dirty air in F1 and without rain nearly all held dry races we're as dull as on most other Tilkedromes too. Teams hate it too since infrastructure is bad and good hotels are on the other european side of the Bosporus from the track beeing on the asian side so most people involved spend a lot of time in traffic jams getting over the bridge.

Infrastructure aside, I think you will be in a small minority with that view of the circuit.

I know but that's ok, Spa or Monza f.e. have this problem too, fantastic tracks but most times absolutely boring watching F1 races there in the dry. F1 regulations are the problem not the tracks 🙃

Dull trucks can produce interesting races, and vice-versa. Many people "hate" a track but still watch every minute of it and even waste plenty of time arguing over or its terrible nature and how this is indubitably the very end of the sport (until something else comes along and steals its oxygen).
