The FTO Super Touring Project...

Hello everyone in GTP :)

Today I decided to open a thread in honor of my desperate attempt to get a green FTO Super Touring Car (my ultimate unicorn car, who has been evading me since 2002 :scared:)

So this is pretty much the deal... I'm going to refresh my UCD like crazy for about... I don't know, until I get it I guess... and post which cars I have dropped in favour of obtaining this car... (and believe me, I've dropped several good ones & rares already)...

I started yesterday, so I'll start from that point...

So let's begin...

-Day one:

These cars are winnable, so you didn't miss much then.
If I was able to get a green FTO, what would you be prepare to trade it for?
 
Both R8 race cars (yellow & red), my F10 and 2 car tickets I have...

BUUUT the FTO isn't tradable so... :(
 
Oh god.. Good luck on finding that car in the ucd, that'll be a while, but worth the time Spend refreshing the ucd when you finally get a hold of one.
 
It took 5 months for a black FTO Super Toruing car to pop up in my UCD... Good luck getting a green one...

I have never seen an altezza touring car. But i guess it's not as serious as yours. I hope you get what you wish for, and cherish it!
 
Good luck and happy hunting MoLiEG. The FTO touring car showed up once for me since GT5's release and thankfully I snagged a gray one. It hasn't showed up since.
 
Anyone know if you can get this (the FTO) from a specific year b'day ticket?
 
I had one in GT3 & 4. Ironically, both were green. I loved it to death in both incarnations but as of yet i'm yet to see one at all. :( I will continue searching with you and when i find it i will post an excessively swearishly excited reply here just for you ;)

Sadly, no :( There's a list somewhere here in GTP that has all the cars you can get from year tickets and no... the FTO isn't in any of them... only the 1000 ticket would do it... but it's a long shot...

I just got a PT Cruiser, my first car back in GT3 :) Nice memories come back to my mind with this one ;)

Damn! Now you wanna make me spam the UCD till i get one. I have a yellow one on my other profile but i got it after the trade limit was put in place. Thanks for the heads up an good luck with getting the green one.
 
The FTO Super Touring Car is a Gran Turismo designed car, and because it doesn't exist, there's np date and therefore can't be won by a birthday ticket.
 
Yes... it's so depressing you can't get it from a year ticket... :(

Well... that was it for today... No FTO again...

Who Knows? Maybe tomorrow will be the day :)

Maybe you can count Mazda MX5's to help you drift off into sleepy land!
 
What will you say if I say I saw a green one yesterday, but skipped it because I already had a black one? So at least we know it's possible =P

Couldn't you just buy an FTO Super Touring Car and paint it green?

Unfortunately, no, as it's a non paintable car.

What will you say if I say I saw a green one yesterday, but skipped it because I already had a black one? So at least we know it's possible =P

Tell him what day are you ,perhaps he is close that day or he passed it already.If it's an early day,like from 100-500 game day then he can start a new game in a secondary account and go for it.Finally the FTO is a '97 car so who can with certainty say that you cannot have it from a '97 ticket?Even if someone tried that ticket 500 times it doesn't prove it isn't in there.Anyway good luck and may I also suggest to become friends with someone who has it so you can at least rent it and photograph it as long as you like.That way only the ownership of a, pixelated,car would be missing from your experience,cheers!

Edit:I just saw Rayzah's comment about wining one from a '97 ticket !!
 
Best of luck, after a hour of refreshing about a couple of months ago, I got a black one, I have not seen another one since. :boggled:
 
Best of luck in searching for your targetted car 👍 We all have them.

Unfortunately if we all created threads lamenting our target, we'd have a forum bursting at the seams with threads that dont really convey useful information for the rest of us.
