The only way to get these colors in the game, is to be gifted them (every 30 cars you gain in your garage, you are gifted a paint chip, amongst other methods). So, you either have to wait until you get the paint chip randomly (which could take ages), or trade for it here.

Before I started trading (about a week ago) I had 3 or 4 matte paints, and no chrome. Now, I have just about every matte color, and at least 20 chrome chips.

Again... How are you missing this? You say you collect the car models.. SO do I. I also enjoy the possibility of painting said cars any color I want, and change it as many times as I want. With so many cars in the game, it takes a lot of paint chips to achieve this. However, most people just need one of each paint chip, since they are easy to duplicate once you have at least one.

So you don't like matte colors... You must be intelligent enough to understand color preference is subjective. I'm sure there are many colors you like, that many others do not.

Just as you collect all the cars, many also want to collect all the rare paints. The matte/chrome paint chips are easily the rarest (due to how they are acquired).

Simple. No mystery.

Good point, how many cars do you see that aren't very new with 0 miles? Very little. It's very very rare to find a 0 mile car that is old in real life, in this game, not so rare. Oh and back up and duplicate those 0 mile cars, they're worth nothing cos you can back them up as many times as you like. I understand why people want 0 mile cars but honestly it makes trading unattractive, I just want quick and easy trades, don't give a damn about miles but with all the '0' mile posts I don't really care for trading anymore.

I agree, it's silly. But, with 0 switches, that guarantees nothing has been done to the car, so you can start from scratch, yourself.

I've got many X1s, so that is not something I am looking for. I am looking for the #16 Pescarolo Hybride Judd '05 and the #18 Pescarolo C60 Judd GV'04. Since these are much more valuable/ rare than the Vette, I'd also happily throw in your choice of any LM car in the game, complete with a 1,000,000 in chassis refresh/engine rebuilds as well as all removeable upgrade parts. The only race cars I don't have that I know of are the RX8 LM Concept, the '01 Subaru STI Rally Car Concept, and maybe a few others.
