You're bound to be better than me, I seem to have several hundred kilo's of concrete hidden somewhere in my boot. :guilty: Best I've done so far is a high 1:16 which is several seconds off the pace of some other drivers.

I made a pretty basic one just reducing the Differential lock under acceleration and hardening the front ARB, seems to work pretty well. That might change in the close future since I've only done like 20 laps so far, and it didn't feel like I was quite pushing the car as I should.

Will give that a go. Quite hard to push the car I find, more about throttle control and finessing the car around the track. Hopefully should lead to some close racing 👍

The car is actually fine under acceleration and while cornering once you master the throotle, I just find the braking part the hardest by far, the limits aren't quite clear for me.
 
Yeah, see, I don't get that. If I give it much brake it just starts to lock up and plow forward. I can't recall the back end ever braking loose.

Thanks for the setup tips @Alexd1345, front end is much more pointy now and managed to knock 7 tenths off and break into the 13's. Think this will be a very good race with lots of close racing!

I just broke into the 13's as well, finally found the key to braking. And yeah I hope we get a good race!

Had an awesome race with The Stig in the first race. Somewhere around 12 laps of follow the leader 👍

Second race got a little squirrely under braking and dropped to ninth. Had a bunch of fun battling Niel, Wiz and Tim :cheers:

Yeah that was another great night of racing. Great bunch of racers who race correctly 👍

Somehow found another half a second in quali. No idea how! Need to practice my starts though. Dropped back through the field in both races but then slowly managed to work my way upto 2nd in both races and hand some excellent battles along the way. Can't believe I've had AC for so long but not really touched it until now, I've really been missing out!

Catch you all in a couple of weeks.
 
Despite getting spun in both races I had a fantastic time and great battles the whole night. The first 10 laps of the second race were just incredible with bumper to bumper and door to door racing throughout the midpack, real white knuckle stuff. I had doubts about this combo but it turned out to be our best yet. And best crowd too with 12 for the first race.

Big thanks to everyone for coming out and making it so fun.

Good races, sorry if my driving was a little wild, didn't really spend time making a setup which I why I skipped 2nd race to tune it real quick. Got it to run 12's then came back to realize everyone was gone :lol:

Yeah we definitely have ourselves a nice club here. Always 3 or so that are too fast but mid pack we're all more or less on the same pace 👍

Seems that way, it's been a lot of fun. I'm over the moon with how well things have gone, really wasn't sure how well this would work around here but so far so good! I've got some pretty good combos coming up so hopefully there's more fun I'm store.
 
I vote for 12 :lol:, I'll be out the 15th through the rest of this month, going to Sebring and then some work mtgs.
 
OP has been updated with results, replays, and the next combo. Since the F1 Circus is about to begin I figured we'd take another trip down under and thrash the Formula Abarth around Albert Park, it's quite good fun. There are two versions of the track, one looks much better than the other and it's linked in the OP. 👍
 
Sorry I missed out, got called to work last minute. Work always picks up for me with the big temp changes. It just makes some bricks explode. Great job security though.
 
As you may have noticed, (thanks to @Wiz ) Minorating is now working on the GVRC server. There aren't any restrictions set though so everyone can still join, it's mainly just there so we can all build our rating and be able to get into MR servers if we ever want to. 👍
