So far:

1. Mazda 787B
2. Ferrari SP-1
3. Calsonic Impul GT-R

👍

All the best
Maz

In no specific order:

Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 '09 with semi-racing exhaust
Stealth GT-R GT500 (or any of the Super GT GT-Rs)
NSX RM '91
Ruf RGT

And many others :p

Every iteration of this game there is at least 1 car I knew little to nothing about but wind up falling in love with. This time around it's the Mazda Furai. Stunning looks. Even better handling. Just... wow.

With GT4 for me it was the New Beetle RSi, and it continues to impress this time around! If you see it and have a spare 80k sitting around, I can't recommend it highly enough. Throw some dirt or snow tires on it, take it off road, and have some fun!

I bought the Collector's Edition, so I got the Chromeline cars. The Cobra is beautiful and an absolute beast, but the handling it very tasking at times. The Lambo Murcielago is even more beautiful, but just feels a little "meh" to me when compared with the Gallardo. I absolutely hate the M3 (although I do like the orange paint on it), and I won't even drive the Mercedes because it's fugly. That leaves the Chromeline Audi R8. What an absolute pleasure that car is to drive. Just point it where you want it to go, and it goes there. So incredibly fun.

And also wanted to mention the Buick Special. There's no way that car should be that much fun and sound so amazing doing it. I can definitely see why it won at SEMA.

The NSX is consistently one of my favourite Gran Turismo cars, and GT5 is no different. Few cars find an apex like the NSX, while being so stable in the rear. The way it can be thrown at turn 2 at Tokyo R246 is just magic.

I haven't touched one tenth of the cars you mention here, and this isn't an easy choice, but right now I would have to choose the Jaguar XJ13.
It's a joy.

I've fallen in love with the GT by Citroen Race Car.

The thing sticks to the road, and when it doesn't its easy to control.

Also it looks absolutely amazing. I've painted mine midnight purple III, and boy it is pretty.

You get this car in one of the extreme events in B Spec.

Nissan GT-R V-spec
Toyota Minolta
Corvette ZR-1 RM
Peugeot 908
They handle incredible well and they have a great acceleration and top speed.

Ferrari F10 is sick in every aspect.
Obviously the Redbull X2010 is the best but it's just booring...

Nissan GT-R Black Mask with sports hard tires--It's a beast and is an insanely fun car to drive.

Enzo--Fun as hell on Cape Ring!

The Kubelwagon--Old, but a nice piece of history (and is best with a fully customizable tranny)

FGT--Fun to drive. Period.

X2010--Fast, fun, gets you plenty of money, kills every other car.

Alfa Romeo TZ2--Not to slow, not to fast, enjoyable, fun to drive around the 'Ring!

Audi R8--Performs well and can do some doughnuts :P.

Ferrari Enzo: This car is a complete beast, I've left it completely stock and before I finish any session of GT I take it for atleast one lap around the Ring on Sport Hard tires. This IMO highlights the biggest strength of GT5, and that's the vast improvement in physics. This car combo is extremely challenging, and soon I will tackle it with Comfort Soft. Totally worth the 1mil credits.

PS. the engine is worked in to 690bhp stock!!! Wheel spin in every gear after every bump. This car is not for beginners and not for racers without a wheel IMO, with aids all off this car is a hand full for veterans even. BUT, there isn't a more rewarding feeling than getting a corner right in this machine. (My PB is currently 7:17.xxx on Nurburgring, I'd love to hear if anyone tries it)

I just bought this car and left it stock except for an oil change and racing mediums. I did a one make race on the Nurburgring 24hr layout for 4 laps...

This car is absolutely incredible, I'll agree with you on that, but I'm not so sure I see how its hard to drive like you and other have said. This car was easier to handle than my Mclaren F1 GT, even in the rain. The car is just so balanced and the steering is pretty much perfect. I couldn't believe how amazing the car was to drive, it easily beats the F430 Scud and definitely beats the 458.

Plus I was expecting the car to feel "slow" after finishing the dream car championship level 24 in my Minolta Toyota. Nope, this thing is a damn rocket, it feels alot faster than it should even though it does have about 680 hp. It also sounds amazing, probably the best and most accurate sounding car in GT5 it seems. Doing the chase cam you can really hear that engine scream with crazy backfire pops when you down shift.

I cant BELIEVE I read people here complaining that the car handled poor. I'm SOO glad I bought it anyway.

I found the Enzo to be a bit of a tank slapper, not a bad car and definitely a lot of fun but nothing special performance wise, if anything the thing has more instability issues than other cars in the power range. Still its a must have car for any garage, without a doubt.

Gold list:
Corvette ZR-1 '09
Ferrari 458 Italia, 430 Scuderia
ACR Viper
Tommy Kaira ZZII '00
Toyota Supra RZ '97 (tuned)
Nissan GT-R SpecV

Actually I drove the SLS in Arcade mode on the ring yesterday, and man this car blew me away. It has nothing to do with previous AMG models, this is a pure sportscar.

It is very, very fast and very controllable. The sound is allrightish, and the looks of the model and cockpit are simply great.

I am very pleasantly surprised by this car!

I also drove the Gallardo and this was a joy to drive as well. You can really feel the advantadges of AWD here. Grip, grip and then a bit more grip.

Only thing is that the gallardo felt more like 50 / 50 torque split instead of the 30 / 70 it is supposed to be.

Anyway, having sooo much fun on the ring in GT5!! 👍

Nissan Silvia S15 RM

No-one ever seems to mention this car but to my mind the balance between spped and precision is nigh on perfect.

My new love is the ART Morrisson Corvette '60. It's a beautiful cabrio, inside and out (it's a premium), and is wonderful to drive. You just need the spare 750,000.

And instead of the Enzo, I prefer the 599.

My other go-to car at the moment is the Audi LeMans Quattro (i.e. the precursor to the R8). The thing owns the 'ring :)

All these cars are free, and REALLY help with A/B-Spec :) i really haven't brounght many:

Bugatti Veyron ( great for b-spec)
Buick Special 62
Citroen C4 Rally car (Easy to win I'll help if you can't get it 👍)
Mazda Furai

Ferrari italia 458 amazing car and all rounder, great for first purchase-does get a bit boring to drive though because it handles so well
Gallardo so much fun to drive i find the back end going out a-lot but it is controllable and just makes me love it more

I'm am yet to try out the Nissan GT-R or the corvette ZR-1 but i will defiantly have to check these cars out.

X2010, just because the amount of skill required to keep it on the road (with a DS3).
Also love the Enzo, and still looking for a Furai

not gonna mention all the cars as many have already been mentioned, so that i leave you with

lancia delta hf evo road version , awesome thats all you need to know

alfa romeo 155 v6 dtm, awesome thats all you need to know

One of the slower cars but so fun to drive, the Jaguar E-Type 61´... Loved it in GT4 and love it in GT5...

I agree, I really like this car as well. So many others to try, but I also really like the Amuse S2000 GT and Scuderia so far. Maybe in time I'll enjoy the FGT but for now its just too much for me... :)

787B Stealth - Found a wicked tune for it on here and its a Monster , as everyone else mentions it , yes it does sound Amazing even on Tickover 👍

Gallardo . This was a nice suprise as i've driven this in other Games and its even better in GT5

Mazda MX5 . got one for learing how to Drive a RWD Car Properley , Fully Tuned its not got huge amounts of power but it'll make the back spin out if your not too carefull with the Throttle .

Jaguar XJR-9LM Loved this Car in the Previous GT so having it again my Garage was a must . Power aplenty and its great on Le Sarthe for Slipstreaming i, i've had it up to 264mph on the main straight :scared:

Sauber -C9 another Monster of a Car .

Finally Ferrari 330 P4 . In car Veiw at the Ring 24HR O.M.G .

Mazda Furai - surprisingly fast, excellent car for grinding the expert 5 lap Madrid race
Honda Life Step Van - fully modded, purple, stupid spoiler, stupid suspension - -30mm front +50mm rear, ridiculous camber - just epic :D
Lamborghini Gallardo - OMG the sound
Jaguar XJ13 Chromeline - made a lot of GT Life a breeze
Nissan Skyline GTR R32 - only a few mods made it 450bhp, sounds good with a racing exhaust
Amuse Carbon R - fast and a bit slidey
Both Blitz Skylines - fun, easy to drive
VW Golf RM - very good handling, looks brilliant
Audi RS4 - only 38000 cr which was instantly recouped by the german championship, something I shall be tuning shortly

Sorry man..Â…but anyway the BMW M3 GTR my jaw dropped at the price tag 300k! But with a little tuning that car makes short order of the Merc SLS on the German B race on extreme.

Mercedes SLS because it handles well when you want it to and drifts when you want it to as well.

Pagani Zonda R: It's a handful but handles well when you master it

BMW E36 M3 as soon as one of my friends gifted it to me I decided to run around the ring.

Even though the oil change indicator was on and the engine and chassis probably needed a rebuild but it ran so well especially at many sections where I got almost scared I had to keep changing the view so I could make sure I was driving an M3
