In GT4 i am hoping for more car companies especially the D.M.C. (Delorean Motor Company). the gran turismo games have almost every car comapny but not the DMC. It was the most exotic car of the 80's.

race tracks would include all the originals, tracks in... Florida, new york, paris, tokyo, toronto canada, and many more.

the music would be songs like
FEAR FACTORY: CARS
and some other titles

all cars would be buyable even if they were prototypes or that are unbuyable today. it would include canasters of N.O.S. (Nitro), tires that are thin, fat, or thick. blowers ( the metal addons that pop out of the hood of the car which provide more Horse power). there would be a station that lets you make your own hubcaps, tires, cars, and paint job.

the in game Details would look so much like the cutseens.

this seems too much to fit on even 2 cd's for the PS2 but you'll never know untill you try.  trust me, my ideas (if used correctly) could make a bum in $6,000,000,000,000,000 debt become richer than god. hehehehehe!!

Good suggestions, but just let me play online and I'll be happy.  :)

On line is a must for the next GT, but to make it really worthwhile there should be more car body enhancements and racing mods. Changing your rims and lowering your suspension is about as far as this goes in GT3, and it doesn't really help the performance of your car anyway. You should be able to buy individual spoilers, wings, scoops, window tinting, etc. and whole body kits from Mugen, TRD, etc.
What would be great would be the ability to download cars  + mods onto the new PS2 harddrive.
GT4 also needs more manufacturers AND modifiers/developers like RUF. Japan, America and Europe are full of them.
And HSV should be included cos its cars are cool

Online would be the Ultimate, my only concern is baud rate, what kind of modem is PS2 going to be able use? will it be able to adapt to a cable modem? or even DSL? I use to play alot of online games ie. Rouge Spear, where there are a lot of graphics going on.  I had DSL in Arizona, but when we moved to Ohio, my town does not offer it, let alone Cable, I tried playing using my 56K but, gave that up in a heartbeat, due to pinging rather sucked!!!  I don't know, I'm hoping that PS2 has thought of this.

My wish is GT4 will have all the cool BMWs.  Like all the Z-Cars, 507 Roadster, and ALL M-Power cars that BMW M made like the 1983 1300 Din HP Formula One Turbo.

In November the online Ethernet Port is coming available acording to Sony. This adapter will have both modem and broadband capabilities which means Cable and DSL support. Cool... Sony is also releasing the 40 gig hard drive in November, I believe. This would lead me to think that quite possibly, GT4 could have the capabilities to download cars similiar to Need For Speed!!! Can't wait!!! Should be fun fun fun...

they are trying to cram all the new features into GT3 Online. This will be released in dec right after the modem and drive comes out. They have already added 50 cars and more will be availible for downloading. The only problem they are having is the autoupdate feature of the game. This will make sure everyone get's the same car lineup before they play online. All the new cars will be stored on the drive. Also a new feature they are trying to cram in is selectable music from the drive. Download some MP3's and play them as well as the music from the game. :) it's getting better.

I would really like to pimp out a 2001 BMW m3.  Other than online play i wish for more American cars...  I can only take so many Hondas

I think they need to add more features to GT4 such as a sort of a off-road racing/polo hybrid feature.  Also, I would want to be able to sabotage other players cars.  Like putting sand in their gas tanks and loosening the lugnuts on their wheels.  Also, where is the blood and guts?  Not to mention skin!!!  The next GT installment needs to be a bloody, perverted, evil, rocking good time.  That's what I think.

I'd like to see the old Datsun Z cars (not just the 240) and maybe more cars that are coming out in the states: Mazda MP3, Focus SVT, Sentra Se-R. Id also like the aero-enhancemants like on Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero.

Decals is a good idea. I reckon you should be able to choose a sponsor a decal layout/colourscheme and then have the game generate it. So you could have a Budweiser sponsored Ford Mustang Cobra R (We have one racing in Australia). More BMWs is a must as well. The 328Ci should at least be replaced by the 330Ci or new M3. And where is the Z8?

All's i want is the 1/4 mile and burnout contests.  oh yeah and if they added the sound end of the car spectrum...wouldn't it be cool if they had decibal drags?

IMAO, I think carpet queens should stay off the track. When the speakers has more travel than the suspension, it's time to just park it and get a REAL car. Granted, I like loud, thmping music, but not when I'm trying to go fast. Having said that, I DO like the decals and FUNCTIONAL aero parts from TXR0.

Also, I think programmable automatic transmissions would be a start. Either that or be able to force the downshift and/or prevent upshifts like RL.

For GT 4 I want some decent AI for the other cars. As far as I can see the AI hasn't moved on since the original GT - they still drive into you, they still operate under seemingly different physics to your car (they tap you and you spin off, you broadside them at 200mph and they move five feet!), there is still usually one much faster car to beat, the rest just being there to drive into you repeatedly if you don't get clear.

The GT game design guys really need to have a game of F1 2001 to see what the other cars AI should be like - they give you room when you make a move, they pounce if you brake to early instead of just driving into you, they adjust their lines properly instead of just swerving back onto the predetermined one, they stick behind you on straights to get a draft...

Hell, we'll be playing online by them anayway, so perhaps the AI is irrelevant.

Secondly I want DAMAGE. Perhaps that would stop the dumbass other cars driving into you. I know the manufacturers don't like it - so why not have a special damage mode with some fictional cars (which could easily have performance characteristics remarkably close to real cars :) and cars from manufacturers who aren't so anal?

Other than that I'd like an option to not automatically go into the replay after each race and the default selection on starting a race not to be 'preview' - 95% of the time I want to *play* the damn game, not just look at it.

Damage is a must. The cars should rebound realistically off barriers with shareds of metal and gravel being thrown across the road into the 20 other competitors. Yes 20 cars now. Also insurance would be good as it would mean that if u can't afford insurance then u have to pay for damage. If u can't afford it then u would have to scrap the car. That would make u think twice about smashing into barries to slow down. Dints should stay on the car if u don't  mend 'em. Also cars should roll and flip and u could even have an injury meter. I would have oil leaks and egine blow outs. Also more Real life tracks like silverstone and indianapolis. And deffinetly new AI like f1 2001 as someone has alredy mentioned.

I think thats about it:):rotfl:

Ok this is what i would llike in GT4. One thing that no one has mentioned is a cockpit view. Yes thats right a cockpit view, with each car having its own true to life cockpit view. One where u can see ur hands turning the steering wheel and shifting the gears. Damage is a must to stop all the wallbangers taht are in gt3 the ones that dont use brakes a lot. Damage to where if u hit a wall at 140 the whole front of the car would be destroyed, damage to where if u dont pit and ruin ur tires that they will bust slinging u into the wall. And when u have to call a tow truck u can see the driver getting out of the wreked car. Better replay where u can pause and fastforward and have many camera views. Improved tuning system where u buy parts and put em on the car urself like in motorcityonline for pc. Option to take parts off and sell em to the parts dealer. Option to build ur own car from scratch with parts from a GT4 racing catalogue, parts like body kits and all the engine parts like pistons and such. Animated pit crew and stuff like that. Option to paint ur cars and put custom decals on em like ur name and stuff. Way more cars like the BMW 3 sersies and of course u must have Ferraris in the game that is a must! Cars like Mcclaren and uhh lets see Cadillac and volvo etc. Option to buy rims that actually make a diff in performance like light weight wheels that cost 1000 a piece.Option to paint and make wheels. And a GT4 driving tutorial on a whole separate cd for the newbs of gt racing. AI liek the AI in grand prix legends where it would take u months just of racing hard just to come in first on a race in amateur level. And back to the cockpit view thing the gauges on the dash would actually work so u wouldnt have to those big ass gauges on ur screen. Pit crew member that held a timeboard up to show u the time gap between u and ur opponents instead of all those numbers on the screen. Random machine and engine brake down in the endurance races. Random weather and snow trax for rally trax.I will expand on this more and more. :)

this seems too much to fit on even 2 cd's for the PS2 but you'll never know untill you try.  trust me, my ideas (if used correctly) could make a bum in $6,000,000,000,000,000 debt become richer than god. hehehehehe!!
F.Y.I.
GT3 is on DVD fromat.
If the GT3 DVD disc is fully loaded, it contains 12 regular CD's worth of info.
If you get what you want, 2 CD's worth, you're right, it is too much to fit!

I think with the ablility to change your cars soo many diffent ways now and now internet aceess for gt4 then should make a straight track so people can drag race the same cars or different but the same to test if you tuning is better than other peoples or if you need to work on it.

I don’t know if any of this has been posted before but I would like to see the following when the modem and hard drive becomes available for the PS2:

1.) The ability to transfer the entire game to the hard drive. This would increase the already fairly good performance.
2.) Continue to create car models for GT3. Make these cars downloadable. Hopefully free, but I would pay to get new car models also.
3.) Allow us to use our own .mp3 files for the music.
4.) Allow us to download a “patch” so those of us with the hard drive can manipulate the BGM and SFX volume levels, and get any game updates to fix typos, torque errors, etc.
5.) Create new downloadable tracks.

Some suggestions.

How about with the online gaming that you can do a 6 player race.  How awesome would that be?  To have a race with 6 people that actually can drive.  That would be so fun.  Just imagine a second between first and sixth place instead of 3 minutes.
:cheeburga:

online is got to be the next thing to introduct.  i like the idea of damage, more control over tire(pressure?, sizes?) and probley get some real manufactures of real racing modificaions,  nitros could be wild, but of course to be used with drag cars(should of been left in car list)
and more real life race tracks

cool peace
