Just wanted to share my thoughts on my GT5 experience. I have always played the previous games but it wasnt until gt5 that the world of gran turismo took hold. maybe its because of how the game feels more like an rpg driving game or if you will an mmo where there seems to be so much content to work through its mind numbing. every day now im eager to experience whats left in the game. not being heavy into the sim side I am finding its teaching me things which had always eluded me who is naturally attracted to more arcade styled racers.

Aside from a couple of the graphical hiccups prelevant, I find gt5 to be an addiction of sorts. how it has made me a better driver and brought me more into the world of car appreciation and passion really reflects to me what kaz has been doing all these years. To not just reach the fans but to also show those who are a bit wary of the depth of this kind of game that it ain't so intimidating to jump in and tinker about.

The support post release has been unprecedented and I truly enjoy not only playing GT5 but seeing how its evolved and continues to evolve.

Cheers for listening and thanks to Kaz, PD and GT Planet for allowing me the chance to share this.

👍 Well said, not long now til GT5.2 👍

I agree was slightly dissapointed when it was first released but it's gota be by far the most supported game since games started relying on patches and updates.

Also the special seasonals like gt academy, nascar and especially the top gear SLS one keep me coming back when im just starting to get a bit bored of it.

Good work PD now let's get working on GT6 for xmas next year :sly:

*clapping hands* GT5 is a game where you find you way to enjoy it. You choices, more fun. There is not a way that it is supposed to be played :)

Agreed. Kaz inspired me to feed starving Africans and search for a cure for cancer.

Well said, this has something for every one, those that feel the need for a X2010 in every colour, or the ones that can't wait for the next seasonal.

I never raced in manual transmission full time or understood all aspects of what it takes to get your car to drift until i played GT5.

I gave my Red Bull to a homeless person. Am I now as cool as you are?

Anyhow, I really can't stand being away from this game, and am going to drag my PS3 rig to the basement soon so I can race whenever I want - on a puny 37" screen. The sacrifices one must make...
