Should we run a formation lap, or get situated at the start?

How about we make the Daytona race a 6 hour race. Green flag at 6:30 or 7:30. We would have to figure out a caution system though. I actually have one friend I could tolerate long enough to race the race & do driver swaps with. Tomorrow I will take pictures of all of the cars. Then I will setup the OP then post it in the spot race part of the forums.

The race would be on a Saturday night.
 
I have posted a page on facebook and google plus. check em out like and sign up.
 
The schedule so far is 9 p.m. from friday or saturday. The length of the races will vary, so far 4 hr. is sufficient. and I have worked out some of the points system:
2 hr./ 1st-15pts, 2nd-14pts, 3rd-13pts, 4th-12, 5th-11, 6th-10, 7th-9
4 hr./ 1st-20pts, 2nd-19pts, 3rd-18pts, 4th-17, 5th-15, 6th-13, 7th-11
8 hr./ 1st-50pts. 2nd-40pts, 3rd-35pts, 4tb-30, 5th-25, 6th-20, 7th-18
12hr./1st-100pts, 2nd-80, 3rd-70, 4th-60, 5th-55, 6th-50, 7th-45, 8th-40, 9th-35, 10th-30
The amount of points each team has is where they will be on the starting grid for the 24 hr. race. If there is any misconduct during a race points may be deducted; for such things as intentionally cutting corners.

Well some of the cars are 47 & 49 second cars. The ones already spec'd are the top 5 from the 50 second cars.

We should do a 4 hour endurance in the Subaru 360, Fiat 500,& Citroen 2V. I think it would be fun.
