Having seen both Ju
n & the grudge i can say that i think JuOn is slightly better than the grudge, mainly coz i didnt keep doing that annoying fading in and out everytime it went to a new bit of the story.
Sarah Michelle Gellar is always nice to watch, but seing the Japanese original is just so much more intense and atmospheric, neither versions scared me (hardly anything does).
But if you want a japanese horror movie to scare you please see The Eye this is a far supperior movie, made my hairs stand on end at 1 really freaky scene.

i saw Grudge in the theater and found it ok, i ordered Ju on1 and 2 watched it last night.. must say far better 👍
