MILEAGE EXCHANGE

THIS FORTNIGHT'S THEME

This week, we're playing a bit of Russian Roulette with cars. Last winner @wowbaggerBR set this theme, here are the details :

"Today I was making my mandatory once-a-week peek in the game to see if the Mileage Exchange brought something I didn't get earlier and I had an idea:
A Russian Roulette: entries must only use cars, wheels and colors available in the Mileage Exchange offerings during the LEC's submissions phase. Sponsors, designs and all the rest are free of any restrictions."

CARS :
- Available on the Mileage Exhange only.
- Safety cars
- Gr.3 road cars

LIVERIES :
- Replicas or Original designs.

UNIQUE RESTRICTIONS :
- No restrictions.
- Sport Mode compatibility is not mandatory.

BONUS PICTURE SETTINGS :
- Up to two Bonus Pictures allowed.

USER MADE DECALS :
- No restrictions.

GENERAL COMPETITION RULES

ENTRY SUBMISSION

- The only way you can take part is to be a member of the GTPlanet forums. If you haven't created your account yet, click here
- Mark your FINAL ENTRY clearly, with red text.
- Unsure how to? Copy and paste the following:
Code:
[COLOR=red][B]FINAL ENTRY[/B][/COLOR]
- One entry per user. It must be your own work, and never previously used in a competition.
- You may change your entry once. Do it clearly; edit out your previous entry, and either post the new one in a new reply, or in place of the original.
- Do not post "Honourable Mentions" or outtakes - just your Final Entry, that's all.
- Absolutely no entries which utilize edited/hacked file saves.

- Winner gets to choose the following Fortnight's theme.
- Winners cannot enter in their own theme!
- The Host may ask for the original image/livery and it must be submitted if so.
- It's recommended to share the original livery online (in-game) to prove it’s your work.
- Winner, second and third places will have to share the links of the liveries for the Hall of Fame thread

ENTRY PRESENTATION

- All images shall have preview images which may not exceed 640 pixels in either direction (main and bonus pictures)
- You have to post two main pictures of your entry using the mandatory locations and settings as shown below
- You are allowed to post two bonus pictures in a spoiler with free location and settings (unless the unique restrictions of the week’s theme specify something else)
- You have to make one post with ONLY the 4 pictures and the FINAL ENTRY mark. If you want to add precisions/background story/links, you are allowed to double-post under your entry. The best way to do it will be to "reply" to your own post.

- It is recommended you host your image either here on GTPlanet (via the Media section), or on Flickr
- Not sure how to submit your image? Here's a guide for both methods mentioned above.
- A preview image must be representative of the full-size image. Do not add effects to it.
- Please use a clickable-preview to full-size, not a separate text link for it; it makes poll creation much easier!
- No heavy post-game editing, slight enhancing is allowed.

MANDATORY PICTURES

- You have to post a front quarter view and a rear quarter view of your car.
- You can choose between the Shiretoko 03 location or the White Sands 01/09 locations. No other location will be allowed for the main pics.

If it's your first entry or if you struggle with the picture settings, have a look at the tutorials below :

Sorry if I need to clear the clearest thing but if I do something today I have to use one of the two cars available today right?
Same for the wheels and paints.

Sorry to ask, but what are the cars available today? I'm away from my PS4 for a while so I just wanna start thinking about what I can do.

Yes. You can pick whatever is on now (a Gr.B and a safety car of some sort, if I not mistaken), or just wait to see what comes up tomorrow. If you want to go with today's models (and wheels and colors), submiting your entry in a few days, just remember to specify this in your entry.

I'll try to explain better what I want:

So, let's assume this LEC lasts for three more weeks. You can submit your entry in the last day using car, wheels and colors available in the first week, for instance. But in doing so, just remember to specify this in you post so that we can all follow what each one selected.

The only restriction I would like to see is that cars, wheels and colors have to be all from the same week. So no car from week 1, wheel from week 2 and color from week 3. Other than that, is all fair game.

I'm sorry if this seems way too convoluted, but it was the only idea that came to mind! The intention is just to have some sort of unpredictability in the field, and I hope this is not a barrier for more entries.

how much of the car has the show the paint used???

Doesn't need to be the base paint. Example: If the selection for the next weeks is full of colorshifting, you can just mask it and use as an element on your design, not necessarily the main color.

Sorry to ask, but what are the cars available today? I'm away from my PS4 for a while so I just wanna start thinking about what I can do.

I guess I'll upload each week's selection until this ends.

Does anyone know what the first yellow colour is on the top row was from week 1?
I can repaint my livery if I've guessed the wrong one - but I'd prefer to do this before uploading the livery!

99.9% sure it is the Y2. Took another screenshot from the game and used the color pick tool on Photoshop in order to check it!

Thank you so much for doing this, I went back to my Livery and I had guessed Y2 as well. So I'll run with this!

Edit
Livery uploaded below.

FINAL ENTRY

Mégane R.S. France TC Safety Car

Color: R3 Matte Fluorescent
Wheels: OZ Racing Superturismo WRC

Livery Link:
https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gts...ery/all/livery/11165251/1/7719179668202488841
With this one I wanted to differ a bit from the rest, going with one of the safety cars instead of the WRX. For the concept I chose the newly-formed French Touring Car Championship, or TC France.

Surfing through the pictures of the website I couldn't find a safety car so I just went full original in this one while ripping some pages off the Mégane R.S. Touring Car design.

Gotta confess that the blue part of the livery appeared much brighter in the process of making the livery, might have to retake the pictures to reflect that. :)
