GTS PMC 33 Winner @Raphaele

This Fortnight's Theme :

"FROM DUSK TILL DAWN" – 24 Hours of Le Mans Forever

Last winner @Raphaele set this theme, here are the details :

" 50 years ago Belgian driver Jacky Ickx drove the legendary #6 Gulf GT40 Mk.I to victory, having started last. It was the last time a Ford GT won at Le Mans. Also this 1969 race was the last one to be started with the legendary »Le Mans Start«: When the start flag dropped, drivers had to run across the track to their cars which were parked on the other side, climb in, start the car, and drive away to begin the race.

But let’s look forward to the upcoming event on June 15 and enjoy the anticipation. I want to see pictures flavoured by drama and fascination. Therefore I want you to take your shots in the dark – from dusk till dawn. No sunlight please!

You may go contemporary, classic or futuristic:
  • For classics you may use Gr.N and Gr.X cars that used to race at Le Mans (respectively might have raced here or in other endurance series).
  • For contemporary you may use any Gr.1 to Gr.4 race cars except VGTs
  • For futuristic you may use any VGT as long it looks like a racer. "

Competition Rules

Please, ensure you read and understand all requirements for this competition. Failure to follow the rules may result in disqualification. If you have questions, start a convo with me.
  • The only way you can take part is to be a member of the GTPlanet forums. If you haven't created your account yet click here.
  • It is recommended you host your image either here on GTPlanet (via the Media section), or on Flickr.
  • Not sure how to submit your image? Here's a guide for both methods mentioned above.
  • Preview images can not exceed 640 pixels in either direction.
  • A preview image must be representative of the full-size image. Do not add effects to it.
  • Please use a clickable-preview to full-size, not a separate text link for it;
    it makes poll creation much easier!
  • Mark your FINAL ENTRY clearly, with red text.
    Unsure how to? Copy and paste the following:
    Code:
    [COLOR=red][B]FINAL ENTRY[/B][/COLOR]
  • No post-game editing, besides proportional resizing and rotating, is allowed.
  • One entry per user. It must be your own work, and never previously used in a comp.
  • Do not ask other users to choose your entry.
  • Absolutely no entries which utilize edited/hacked file saves.
  • You may change your entry once. Do it clearly; edit out your previous entry, and
    either post the new one in a new reply, or in place of the original.
  • Do not post "Honourable Mentions" or outtakes - just your Final Entry, that's all.
  • Winner gets to choose the following week's theme.
  • Winners cannot enter in their own theme!
  • The Host may ask for the original image and it must be submitted if so.
    It's recommended to save the original image (preferably in-game) until week's ends.

Third time in a row I've got a fitting picture in my library!! :dunce:

At least I guess it is because according to this site (in French) TVR has participated to Le Mans with a car "based on Tuscan" : Entre 2000 et 2006, la compétition de haut niveau fut même au programme de TVR avec pour point d’orgue des participations aux 24 Heures du Mans à partir d’une T400R dérivée de la Tuscan contemporaine alignée et dans la catégorie GT2.
