FINAL ENTRY

In 1991, for Dave Brodie's final year in BTCC with his Brodie Brittain Racing team, they ran a Ford Sierra Sapphire in this ... distinctive livery. I'd love to know how they ended up with this design, I love it but judging by the response in GT I'm in a minority, lol. Dave Brodie won hundreds of races in saloon cars and endurance races all over Europe. Never reaching the pinnacle of the sport, it didn't stop him from racing for over 50 years, he was still racing in his 70's. Evo ran a feature on him in 2023, he passed on a few months later, RIP.

I choose Alan Mann for this Poll.
Allan Mann started racing in the early 1960 in the british saloon racing circuit with Ford Anglias and Zephyrs, later prepared Ford Cortinas for Alan Andrews Racing , and by 1964 managed his own racing team running races in the UK and the US. After attracting some attention with a strong show in America, Alan Mann Racing became a Ford Factory Team, taking part in all kind of racing, from rallying to touring car racing to prototype/endurance racing...

Cars that showed the iconic red and gold colour scheme were Ford Mustangs, Ford Cortinas, Ford Escorts, Ford GT40s, Shelby Cobras and Shelby Daytonas, and the Ford F3L prototype was built and raced by Alan Mann Racing...
Amongst the drivers in their portfolio were Graham Hill and Sir Jackie Steward, and their palmares include 2 consecutive wins of the British Saloon Car Championship(1967 and 1968), the European Touring Car Challenge in 1965 and the Tour de France Automobile in 1964.

The team was resurrected in 2004 by Alan Mann, who passed away in 2012, and is still active in historic racing competitons.

My entry is basically a replica of a correct rebuilt Shelby Daytona Coupe by AMR from 2015, that gained FIA HTP level in 2022, and is currently on sale for the bargain of £249,950....(https://adamsykes.co.uk/cars-for-sa...-alan-mann-racing-shelby-cobra-daytona-coupe/)

I admit it is a rather simply entry, but it doesn't carry the number 116 for nothing...I put 116 screw bolts on this car with my bare hands and fingers...started with the bolts on the two white panels on the back, and could not stop from there, pretty much all little bolts on the car that were paintable are "handmade"...
