How in the name of all that's holy did I not see this thread earlier?
Chalk me up, also. I currently own and have finished FFI, FFIII, FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, FFX and own FF Tactics.
I think one of the coolest part of all the FF games is in FFI when part way through the game (remember this was on NES) you characters "grow up". Actually, they pretty much just added a few pixels here and there to make them taller.

I can't believe no one said this yet. Probably because not many people played it, I guess. The beauties of being "old".
In FFIII, there was a player that had an attack called "Sketch". You selected it just like a magic/attack command and then picked the enemy you wanted to "copy" and then who you wanted to attack. Hopefully that made sense. Anyway, I went into a cave with her in my party, ran into a random attack, and started pummeling the bad guys like normal. Then her turn came up and I sketched. All of my guys turned to giant red rectangles, which I gotta say freaked me out a bit, but they kept attacking, so I let it go. As soon as the fight was over, I hightailed it back out of the cave to save quick before anything else happened. After I saved, I went into my items and found out that I had 99 clubs. Only 1 character can use it and there is only 1 in the entire game. I figured I might as well sell a bunch off, so I kept 10. Each one earned me some crazy amount of Gil, so for the rest of the game I didnt have to worry about fighting for money. Just that bloody experience. Don't you just love glitches?
And dodging the lightning in X isn't that bad. Unless you wear contacts. Not blinking for hours on end kinda sucks.
Sorry for the mammoth post. I'm sure I'll think of more later.
