I have to keep letting go lf the square button then hold it again, every time I switch gears.

Am I the ONLY guy who is using a DS3 AND is completely unphased with not using ABS?

I use a DS3.

Hey guys I will still drive the pace car this week and maybe do a few more races but I'm not going to become a full-time racer. I have other priorities when it comes to organized online racing. Thanks for being cool though!

Wall in face.. Or driving so slow it made no difference..

It seemed alright to me. I actually drove the Nissan without ABS around Indianapolis, My personal best lap time actually went 0.1 better; 1:26 flat.

You use the square button? Please say you don't use X for acceleration...

No abs +1

Mother of God, I fear ABS already. Almost as I fear rain at Suzuka / Spa / both.

Rain is bad lol.

Rain makes things fun! So does no ABS. May have to tweak the car a little though next season....

No abs DP in the rain will be interesting for sure.

Triggers give me more control over the throttle and brake.

I'm forced to use them in Shift and Shift 2 and they really 🤬 me off. I use the traditional, X, square and D pad.

Have fun with no abs :)

I use the standard controller. L2 and R2 are gas and brake and my shifters are L1 and R1. I also use the left stick to steer. Goonin like a boss!

G27: good to go :)

Here's an alternative; Right analogue stick for any kind of acceleration. Up applies the throttle and down applies the brakes.

You're driving a boat

Remote controlled car controls!

Are we driving cars or operating front end loaders

If I was to use this method turn 1 would look like a recreation of that mess Grosjean caused at Spa last year.

I wouldn't say I'm phased by it, I'm sure it will just take a bit of practice and like polar said, brake bias adjustment. Don't know if I'll be able to compete in next season, but I think no abs could make things very interesting. But then again, I use triggers. I can't imagine trying to play with the face buttons and the d pad. That is probably a large part of your problem resh. Why can't you use the triggers and thumbstick?
