If you had to chose a woman from a group but all you knew about them was the type of tan they had which would you choose?


Is it facetious, stupid, and off the wall? Yes. But that is the point. By referring to it as a man poll that was pretty much implied.

Don't turn this into some big argument or some big theory. It's just a poll.

...and thus it's an arbitrary list of what each of us finds attractive. This topic then becomes dull in the extreme, since it is nothing more than each of us voting for what we already know about ourselves.

Having an actual discussion on the topic, such as Gil is attempting to do, is the only thing that will save this thread form being utterly pointless.

My bad, I didn't realize I was talking deeper meaning with someone with little idea of what deeper meaning is.

Although, a year later in 8th grade I met another true beauty that was all of the above but quite pale.

Stereotypes about fake tans are stupid now, a few girls got them done before prom and none of them looked bad.

You can always tell the difference between a fake tan and a real one, usually because girls that go tanning do it way too much and end up crinkly brown or orange.

I can find girls of any skin hue attractive, even "Caspers", as you've so sensitively labelled them. I only get creeped out when pale women put on SPF 100 to go outside for 15 minutes, becuase they're afraid of the sun giving them skin cancer.

I've had the same girl for 23 years now, and she's gone from pasty pale to brown as a berry, and back again. She still gets my motor running.

I'm not trying to start some flame war, or point out the triviality of judging people by the color of their skin. I assume you already know that.
I'm just saying the poll is very much like asking "are you into girls that are blondes, brunettes, or red-heads?

Bravo, well said. I do tend to like more tanned girls in general, but the missues isn't that tanned and I think she's a looker. Different shades of skin suit different shapes of body and faces in different ways, also your preferrences can change over time. In short, skin tone alone doesn't matter, I've been attracted to dark girls, pale girls and all the inbetweens during my life.

Makeup and foundation that's too light or too dark compared to the rest of the natural complexion of her body, and skin of those who spend an abnormal amount of time in a tanning salon. It bugs me out for some resaon.​

There's something that just doesn't look right about their skin, that's what. other than that, I've never been too picky about her skin color; probably because I come from a family that was really light on one side and quite tanned on the other.

I've seen sexy women in person that look great in any color, call me weird. Why is there a poll?

So your problem isn't with the artificial nature of that tan, but rather the fake appearance . I guess then I agree. Except I'd add that I've seen women use makeup quite well to change their skin color.

Back when I was checking Dittos their slogans were "Dittos hug the curves" for tops, and "Dittos fit where you sit" for the pants.
And while I do appreciate a well fitted pair of jeans (not "painted" on, but snug and shapely), I have yet to see anything that fit quite as nice as Dittos.
In fact, the popular girl in my Jr High (Starla) looked a lot like the girl in the advert.

Point taken FK. However, It also perpetuates that myth that men are stupid, shallow, and have all but given over control to their "johnson" "the battle bridge", "Little head", whatever you care to call it. And I for one would like to believe that some of us are beyond that.

If I had to choose based only on skin color, I would have to abstain.
I want to know that I can have a conversation with her.
I want to know that she digs my music, and vice versa.

You can only have "wild monkey, hang from the chandalier sex" for so long before you get bored (hard to believe, but true).

I surmise that if more of us took the time to really get to know each other, instead of rushing around like cats in heat, this country for one, might not have the divorce rate that it does.
Is that a huge-gantic leap from where we started? Again, a resounding "yes."
But if we go to picking mates or even just ****-buddies, based on their state of tan, then we really have sunk about as low as possible without having to "look up to see down."

MachOne-Now you can complain about my lecturing. And this is a little one compared to some of the crap that come up in the past and "got my back up."

Thats what I'm trying to do for real, even though some friends just want me to get some booty. My search isn't going well though, I guess I have a very incompatible personality.

Nicely summed up Gil! Picking a chick because of her degree of tan or untan-ness is quite shallow in thinking. You cannot just make that choice based on her tan, no offense Machone the idea just seems idiotic. I still kinda think it's funny that some people these days still go by the concept of "The way a chick looks is all that counts."

I think the thread is based only on preference of physical attractiveness. While I wouldn't pick a girl for her looks alone, I do find a certain hair, skin, body type, etc. to be more attractive than other types. No need to gang up on MachOne, because the purpose of his thread is merely "what do you like better?" and not "what is the most important aspect of a girl when looking for a relationship?"
