Do you like the 2 weekend time-scale for this series? And the break between races?

Oh wow, I can't believe it. I was getting frustraited not being fast enough, but I never thought I was fast enough to sweep! This is so awesome considering I was so busy in RL too.

Well done to RACECAR for the clean sweep, and congrat's to Avery GT for the 2nd place in the race.
(think we are going to have to hog-tie RACECAR if he keeps on like this! )
I certainly hope not:sly:

Wow, that was fast time for RACECAR! I am pretty confident, but i should put more effort into qualifying.

Ehm, the pointing is pretty weird IMO. 1st gets 10 points, 2nd 9?? That's quite unfair to the first dude  I would make it 10-6-4-3-2-1 or 12-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

And TOYOTA 99C-V ? Dude, told you I drive that Mazda 787B !

The points may be adjusted (BIG maybe), but I think that RACECAR being 5 points clear already is a big enough gap IMHO.

This is why I set up the points this way,
1) Everyone gets points if they race!
2) The fastest race time will usually produce the fastest lap time also! (and that gets 3 pts instead of just 1)
3) I don't want one single driver absolutely walking away with the series half way through, so the points table needs to be tight.

And, yeah, sorry dude! Forgot that you had changed, and was working off an old entry table not the latest one.
I'll fix it!
*EDIT
Fixed the results table Avery!

Awesome times RACECAR!! 👍

And congratulation to all who participated in the first race of this new championship series

My tire strategy was to run with the most grip possible, so I ran 1xRM the first 6 laps and then 3xRS (4 laps each) for a total of 18 laps and 3 pit stops. Did not refuel and finished the race as the gas gauge went to empty.

I watched some of the American Le Mans on TV this weekend (Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course). The broadcast coverage included great aerial shots of the cars as they worked their way around the track. It gave me a chance to see if the drivers were approaching the turns any differently than I would. But they didn't. Still, I may need to explore better racing lines next time around. Or perhaps my head needs to be examined :D

Congrats to those on the podium 👍

:indiff: ... seems Del needs to apply himself to the next race

Thank you, and Tyre King. you guys have no idea how frustraiting it was to get it right in the small time window I had.

I've just watched that today on the tape I recorded it on. It always helps to watch the real races to help your driving line, your approach, and sometimes your driving style. Did you learn anything from it?

I didn't really learn anything new from watching the race, but after reading the posts here, I think I may be going too easy on my tires. I may need to approach the turns differently. I'm going to try braking later going into the turn and then accelerating sooner out of the apex. We'll see how that goes.
