The cause of homosexuality has always interested me. The fact the LGBT community is in quite a significant minority suggests to me that it is cause by external factors during infancy rather than being genetic. In evolutionary terms is seems like a genetic 'dead end' to me, unless it does happen to be some kind of evolutionary mechanism to cope with population control or whatever.
If I was hardcore gay bashing religious straight & someone offered me a million dollars or more to bang someone of the same sex I do it in a heartbeat. To bad I would do anyone for free. For heteros like ourselves, there is absolutely no way in hell we can be convinced to have sex with someone of the same gender.
(Yes, not entirely accurate, but you get the idea.)
Blatter has previously drawn criticism on the issue. Asked in December 2010 to give advice to gay fans wishing to attend the tournament, he said: "I'd say they should refrain from any sexual activities."
Bit of a non-story really. We've known Qatari laws for a long time now and the world cup was never going to change anything in that country. Blatter wasn't entirely politically correct (or correct full-stop) with his statement about how it's a moral issue, but he's an old man from a different time. I'm not surprised, nor terribly concerned.Just read this.
The World Cup, arguably the biggest sporting event in the world, is going to Qatar in 2022. Homosexuality is illegal in Qatar. And Sepp Blatter calls it a 'moral' issue.
Vile, in my opinion. Especially this bit;
One of my friends is gay I think. Quoted from 'How was your day?' thread.
"One of my best friends just basically told me to **** off for no reason.
He's turning weird on me and he's hanging out with this other kid. He ditched our whole little group of about 6-7 people... It's been months since we hung out and he hasn't responded to any of my texts ever since then. He erased me from Skype and even got rid of my number. I don't know what his problem is but when people do this kind of **** I just want to smash their ****ing face into a wall. You might know, that indecisive mood and the 'well I have other plans' when that person isn't going to be doing **** for the next ****ing 5 hours excuse. " Sorry for bringing anger here.
I hate to say this but most homosexual guys are inconsiderate pricks towards me.
The majority of the ones I've known have been just dicks to me, they feel the need to express themselves more because they are 'out of the closet'. I don't care if you're are gay. Just don't come around me with weird gestures and behaviors, also don't make it too obvious.
Perhaps if every gay person ever pisses you off the common denominator is something other than their sexuality?
High School thread is that-a-way...
It's inconsiderate to make your sexuality obvious? Isn't it equally inconsiderate for you to act like a straight male?
I think we might have accidentally hit upon why they're all jerks to you.
phillkillv2No reason at all to get personal with the 'high school' thing. You're acting as if I'm an in mature person.
I don't show off that I'm straight. I don't care at all of what sexuality someone is and that's the problem. Most gay males flaunt the fact that they are out. I don't care about what someone prefers to have intercourse with. It's just annoying and quite disgusting..
I can already expect for you to rip into me. It's an opinion. Don't make any personal anecdotes.
I don't even what to say. It's shocking how someone basically gets tarred and feathered for having an opinion here.

The irony of accusing Zenith of using anecdotes
You're allowed to have opinions, but don't put opinions on a public forum if you don't want them to be challenged.
The issue here is accusing gay people of "flaunting" their sexuality. Somehow I doubt you don't ever draw attention to yours, inadvertently or not. Gay people doing the same things straight people do every day is perceived as flaunting, while a man and a woman holding hands is "normal".
If you're suggesting that you can tell everyone's sexuality, or even a majority of people's, from their behaviour, you are deluded.
I'm still confused about why Qatar was chosen in the first place. It's not exactly known for it's sporting prowess.
No. Not remotely.
Then why the assertion that 'most' gay males flaunt the fact that they're out? Clearly implying a majority.
And why only males, and not the women too?
I'm going strictly off of the situations I've encountered. Sorry if I made it seem like a majority.
I've never experienced any encounters with a gay/bisexual woman. I wouldn't care if they were gay or not.
