As much as I love the more "humble" race cars that participate in the N24, that's a terrifying thought. Going by the article, the Twingo makes even less power than the Dacia Logan that's been running for the last few years, and that car seems to always get into some sort of trouble with the GT3 cars.
Well, only time will tell....

I had no idea.
  • The event followed the success of the Celebrity Challenge format, which had been held at Adelaide's Australian Grand Prix between 1985 and 1995.
  • The 2001 Clipsal 500 race was part of a similar concept, but specifically for a field of female celebrities.

The current iteration of the Dacia has 280 bhp but the original had 200 bhp, and the Twingo is just about guaranteed to be smaller and lighter than it was. Probably won't be any kind of a problem as long as the drivers don't do anything stupid.

I not too long ago found out about the V8 Sierra. Didn’t know the 7-series raced in a series.

This is the channel.

It didn’t actually race, but this Dune Buggy almost raced in the 1970 Daytona 24 hour race.

It did qualify, but the guy who entered it was a Porsche dealer and the car had an incident with one of the 917’s before the race. He backed out of the race to keep things cool with Porsche.
