I've never locked up the wheels on the X1's, somehow I don't think ABS is even needed on these.
The X1 is no different than any other car, just more extreme. Try jumping from a GT500 car on RS tires into an NSX on Comfort Hards and the transition is just as difficult. What it takes is time and commitment..aka practice..to sharpen your reflexes and build the muscle and visual memory needed to get the car around a given circuit fast and to find the limits of the car, which are considerable. It's not something you are going to do in 10 or 15 minutes.
I've just found out something very interesting: On Indy, when going around a corner at 280 MPH, the lateral g-force is such that if you lift entirely off the throttle and continue turning, the throttle will stay partially open, because the g-force messes with the car. Unless there is another explanation.
