I now hate it but only because it's over used in the game and seasonals.

The Top Gear track is souless and sterile.
we share very similar views then. 👍 they really had to make two tsukuba endurance races. :indiff: as for the tgtt, i never saw what the hype was for it, it's such a boring track in my opinion.

#1 Nuovo Rome ('New' Rome)

[Since GT5]
^ Why oh WHY (as my user detail states)!!!??? Is it just because of a certain landmark? Is it the way the track looks overall? Is it the elevation changes? Is it the unique road surfaces? Unfortunately only PD knows the reason. GTP wants the old Rome Circuit '90s back! This track is a poor excuse of a replacement to the '90s track!!!

No thanks, I like the newer Rome, fast and flowing works for me.

I don't hate any of the tracks in GT5, I'm pretty happy driving them all. I dig Ovals, twisty tracks, short tracks, city tracks, "unrealistic" tracks, rally circuits....

I seem to be alone loving the different challenge of each circuit and the fun of chucking cars around them. It is a joy to chuck a Lotus Elise on comfort tyres around Tsukuba and Top Gear Test track to me, so so much fun and so much detail in the physics and feel in this game!
Neatly placing a car into the cambered apex of the penultimate hairpin of Tsukuba is for some reason so so satisfying. The little bumps on the exit and the feel of the car as you plant the power is gaming ecstacey for me.

I used to have a slight dislike of Fuji but when I played a lot of online racing in GT5Prologue it eventually found a place in my heart. The constant challenge of finding speed and laptime in the final sector is yet another joy to be had in this game.

I still don't understand the seeming majority hating on Cape Ring. From the first time I touched this game I loved it and all of its configurations. Again lots of fast sweepers is an easy ticket for me to enjoy a track. Some tricky braking and turn in points but generally a joy to drive, very easy to find a rhythm. An absolute blast to race on.

1. Grand Valley Speedway (The long one with like 3 different forms) I don't even know why, but i want to destroy that track piece by piece with a ton of C4
2. Indy: "They're making a left turn!.....They're making another left turn!......Oh lord the suspense, They're making ANOTHER LEFT TURN!!!!!!!
Indy 500 ruined it for me

I'm surprised people hate Tsukuba and High Speed Ring. Reading a post on the previous page reminded me that I 🤬 hate Suzuka as well. That's a track that I have never been good at.

Hmm, I hate quite a few tracks:

Tsukuba : So short and ugly. :yuck:

Fuji : It has no flow and something about it doesn't seem right.

Ovals : Yawn...

Cape Ring : Lasts forever, and it's so dull.

But the one that takes the cake for making me want blow my brains out is Grand Valley. Ugh, it's so booooring! It's too long, too. And it seems like every other race in the game takes place on this track. It's horrible!:scared:

^ I like the flow of Rome '90s better thou, but to each his/her own! :)👍

^ Me neither, but the mere fact that the flow of the track means a lot to me. The better the flow, the more fun for me. :D

^ I like Tsukuba too, its just people here in GTP are bothered that this very track is being used too much online. ;)

-> On the Dunsfold runway, if its a standing/grid start then it would be perfect. :)

^ I like Cape Ring, like Complex String in GT3 it takes time for you to like it. :)

I dislike Laguna Seca's layout and the width of the track is too wide for my taste. The corners are so odd and for a person that drives using the bumper cam it's not enjoyable in my opinion.

Cote D'Azur,
after the historic race in the refrigerator shaped 2j, i really dislike this track

maybe for drifting but i have yet to try it

Cape Ring... Ughh! All the races that use the full length course are not paid to compensate you for your twelve minutes of racing. My first post on these forums by the way. :)

In no particular order:

*Nurburgring GP (I wish that slimeball Herman Tilke suffers horribly for all the disgusting and boring tracks he has made. This is no Sudschleife, and is not even worthy of the name Nurburgring).
*Cape Ring (A boring and gimmicky tracks with interesting corners that is just too fictional and too emotionless to be fun. I hate the way it's corners suceed and it's stupid jump).
*Laguna Seca (I personally loathe it. Completely. An odd and annoying collection of tight and stupid corners. I struggle to find it exciting and it just has not enough run offs. The corkscrew might be it's only fun part. The rest of it is pure 🤬).
*Tsukuba (It's TOO short. Really, TOO short for everything. It's too tight, and so short that a couple of laps feel repetitive enough. I'll never for the love of my life do an endurance race there. Also, it has an annoying sweeper).
*Eiger Nordwand (Again, too tight, too downhilly, and to twisty for my liking. It's also short and with an annoying sweeper. I really hate this kind of tracks. Special mention of hate goes towards the first stupid 3 corners that can only be drifted trough).

SPECIAL STAGE ROUTE 7!!!!!! OMFG and i also hate daytona (SOMETIMES) if im doing dirty racing with full lobby of friends its ok and i also hate nurburgring glitchers

IMHO specifically cape ring, and in general all fictitious tracks (with the exception of maybe deep forrest). Anyone who has mentioned a real world track in this thread should be required to wash their mouths out with soap!!!

EDIT: PS CarBastard, nurburgring was NOT a Tilke design. I personally reckon the Nurburgring GP circuit is second only to the nordschleife. LOVE the place.

Hmmm...

Tilke was also involved in the radical overhauls of European circuits, such as Hockenheimring, Circuit de Catalunya, Autodromo Nazionale Monza, NĂĽrburgring and Silverstone Circuit, plus Fuji Speedway in Japan.

Maybe he wasn't responsible for the entire thing, but he surely had his bore-inducing hands on the Eifel mountains. And, thanks to Bernie (A.k.A Gaga Warhol), he's spreading his disease all around the world. I also dislike a bit driving on Fuji because of what he's done to it, I prefer the old layouts (Which, sadly, aren't in GT5).

I hate the tracks with rings, autumn ring and so on, also Monza simply because everyone cuts there and the track is boring.
